Review of gym and pool: I stopped in to use the hotel's health club (I have a Pay As You Gym pass.) I was very impressed with the facilities. The locker room is spacious and clean. Good, clean showers, too. Towels are available for £2 or you can bring your own. The gym is well equipped for weight lifting. Olympic plates and a squat cage, plenty of machines, and good range of dumbbells. Plenty of quality cardio machines. The pool is large and warm. Very nice sauna, steam and hot tub. I also stopped by the Starbucks for a coffee on the way out. Very nice.

Cosy rooms, modern retro decor looks high spec. Rooms appear to be super clean - almost new looking - and stay warm with the window slightly open, even though it’s cold out side. The team are all super friendly; Fiona the night manager offered to help me attain some drinking water late at night, spotting me walking up to my room with tap water Fiona kindly offered to bring me a bottle to my room. Her effort and care is such a nice energy to encounter when staying away from home.

This hotel is outstanding, had an birthday party here on Easter Monday and it is still being talked about by the guests. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the workers were very attentive and helpful. This is a beautiful memory I will cherish. God bless this hotel, the management and staff

Attended a wedding fayre here. The welcome was lovely, a free glass of bubbly and friendly staff. The fayre itself was poor, only a few people there and mostly photographers. It could of been the weather as it had snowed. Maybe the next fayre will be better.

The service was really good from both the guys on reception who really wanted our stay to go well. Unfortunately due to party the first night it was really noisy until about 2am. We were reasure that the room the offered us for our second night would be quieter which it was but we could still hear the bass through the floor. The guy on reception included breakfast for us as a sort of make up which was nice. However we were questioned about this by breakfast staff who weren't so polite and who wouldn't serve us until they had checked it out even though it was written on our key jacket. I would certainly stay again but would make sure I was on top floor away from party area.
