Canal View

Council have turned Pelsall North common into an eyesore. I understand its to manage the flora and forna diversity but very heavy handed in removing unwanted plants and shrubs. Look forward to seeing new growth.

Lovely place to watch wildlife. This time of the year May especially. Loads of baby animals, nice to watch how the "parents" teach them lifeskills. Make sure you don't go to close or scare them as the "parents" are really protective. If taking your dog, have him/her on the lead to keep him/her and the wild animals safe.

1000 off crayfish along this canal

On a nice dry day ,nothing better than a couple of hours walking the dogs down the canal and surrounding area, regularly see herons ,foxes, rabbits even saw a green woodpecker once last summer.

We're traveling on a narrow boat along this canal. Sad to see so much litter and debris like shopping trollies and big pieces of household waste. Some areas are really pretty and some just disgusting.

We visited on our boat - a rare sight for visitors, probably less than one boat a day, so very peaceful here.
