Stayed here for three nights for work. My room was clean, comfortable and warm despite the weather outside. The shower was hot with good water pressure.  My only slight complaint would be that the room was a little dark, even with all the lights on.

Restaurant food was enjoyable and quickly served. All staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Got what was payed for. Lovely meal for tea and good breakfast but there was not much choice for fussy eaters like me. Room was nice. Television didn't work though didn't complain about it though as I only stayed for one night. View wasn't too great the landscape outside was quite neglected and the hotel is in quite a remote area. Did the job and had a lovely night sleep as well.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, lovely warm welcome, food is perfect and the whole hotel is lovely. Only had one issue which was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately 5* is the highest i can go but would give 100* if i could

Clean, comfortable and with free fitness suite. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Rooms at the back of the hotel are recommended as the M6 is only about 100 yards away and there's constant traffic noise on the rooms at the front.

A few teething problems in my room - air conditioning making a buzzing sound, TV not working and window not opening. I was moved to another room where two of the three were better, so not too bad (TV didn't work in either). Wasn't the best first impression, and compounded when the quality of the dinner wasn't very good, and the dining room felt very noisy with people playing videos on their iPads on one side, and a rowdy bar on the other. Breakfast was hearty though, and with a wide range of options, and the room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Duty Manager helpful, and the manager has replied to my first review below, and so this is a slightly edited one which is perhaps less tainted by my frustration at the time of posting. Need to come back to the area in the future, and would stay again rather than go further afield.
