Today was my birthday so I came to celebrate with my mum and dad and the food was amazing! My mum told them it was my birthday and the waiter brang us a cake saying Happy Birthday and he was so nice! 100% recommend to anyone. Butter chicken was amazing
Just, wow. It's been a while since I've been impressed by a restaurant - and especially Indian food. The place is modern, clean and tidy, spread over two floors. There is free but unconnected parking available nearby, subject to timings. We were seated at a clean and spacious table. They took our starters and drinks order quite quickly, and they were brought to our table shortly after - a good mark on their service. The starters were cooked with care; the chicken was tender and flavoursome. The chaat was traditional and wholesome, and the complementary salad was of a good quality. Shortly after, the mains where bought down - and each dish was exemplary in its own right. The flavours of the lamb came through beautifully, the paneer cooked with great care, rice and garlic naan captured their respective palates perfectly. Service was friendly, efficient, and they kept our table clear. The servers all appeared competent, which is often uncommon in Indian restaurants. Overall, very happy with the service, and would happily recommend as a go-to Indian option. Parking: Unconnected free parking nearby.
We hosted our daughters birthday here, they are very kind and helpful. You will get the authentic Indian food here. Worth every penny.
Overall it was nice taste and flavour of food here, presentation and service was satisfactory. Enjoyed the dinner here.
Delicious food, good ambience, friendly staff and melodious Karaoke on a Wednesday night was a great birthday treat. Little on the expensive side. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options Parking: Aldi car park has 2 hours free parking
Been to vijays virasat many times before its a very nice restaurant with a very homley atmosphere. All staff are ever so welcoming. Always given great service.Food served is never cold. This time round we ordered chicken 1965 it was a great starter. Maine meal was daal makhni chicken jelfraisie served with naan and we had the special biryani. Will highly recommend this place.
A nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. They offer 2-4-1 cocktails on Mondays-Thursdays and you don't need to get the same drink so that's a bonus. Food was great, one portion of curry was more than enough for two people. Slightly overpriced, but food is authentic and tastes great.Food: 4/5
We went there to celebrate my uncle's b'day. The food was amazing and super quick service. Every dish was delicious. Also they were so sweet with our little one. He is approx 2 and was jumping and running around but they were so friendly and played with him. Overall a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.
Where do I start? I love this place! The food is absolutely amazing and delicious . While only allowed takeaways at the moment, I decided to pick mine up and the team at the restaurant were brilliant! Smiling and happy to help! Despite being rushed off their feet, they made sure everyone was attended to. The food is what everyone must try. Trust me, you will go again!
The experience was bad. Right from an over pushy and cocky waiter to a disinterested staff, we just couldn't settle in. The waiter wanted us to order everything together as much as possible so he could keep taking away the menus. We were a group of 7 with kids and while we ordered all the starters, we needed more time to order mains which was very visibly frowned upon. To be honest, on its own it would have not been a big deal. BUT What restaurant proclaiming to be "authentic Indian" serves Bhajiyas without mint chutney!? And when we requested that, the restaurant went ahead and charged us for it! That is just a riot! It's not about the 50p i had to pay for the chutney on an overall £172 bill, it's the completely bad experience all around which is forcing me to put in this rating. Dear Management you have a good setup and decent food. Don't ruin it by hiring wrong people and adopting cheap pricing habits.
