My other half decided the day before Chinese New Year that we would visit, impromptu we booked - we couldn't pay a deposit as it was short notice, but it was fine, the staff were very gracious. We arrived at 7 and were there til almost 11, lovely set menu priced at £45. Lots of food, substantially tasty. They were very busy so not the best organised not remembered which dishes we'd had or not, but we didn't mind as they were very polite and patient. They were serving fresh dishes on cold serving plates which was an issue for me and not sure they understood that this wasn't helpful as they were making all of the food cold, but I sent back the cold food. Entertainment was very good and lengthy. We were at the front, so it was extremely loud - drums were deafening. In hindsight, I would asked to be sat further back. I cannot complain as it was lovely and the staff are familiar to us so we feel like we know them personally. All in all a great time had, and I would definitely consider for future Chinese New Year.

High quality food made fresh! We have been celebrating New Years there for the past three years and they’ve been amazing. Planning to go there this year too! Management is beyond kind and always smiling

Food is great, not cheap. ruined by being outdated and the lack of attention from the staff. Shame I won't go again, even though we used to go as children in the 90s. Disappointing. The lady's nice. Young waiter really miserable. We had to earn his service by being accommodating to him, like we had to be grateful. I don't like giving bad reviews. :(

I've only come here for dim sum but it's very good food, and convenient for people living in the area who don't want to travel all the way to China town. Nice decor in the restaurant and you order using the sheet of paper for dim sum, and the food will come pretty quickly. Very close to Gant's hill station but for those with cars, there is also a parking space behind the restaurant.

Service very poor and staff inattentive to customers needs. Food was way below average. My advice - give it a miss and get a takeaway from somewhere else (third of the price and a lot tastier!).
