We had the grilled chicken with rice and the grilled chicken and beef with rice. We also had the vegetarian spring rolls. Everything tasted very good! The fish sauce was amazing. The condiments on the table were great too. The food came out quickly and it was warm and delicious. Great prices and portions too! Also it wasn’t crowded or noisy at all. Definitely worth trying! I do recommend it. Thank you so much!
I was fighting myself to give 2 stars reviews instead 3. The big reason because of their name. Now its new name is “Vietnam cuisine “ It's absolutely not Vietnam tastes as North, south, west or in the middle of the country. All dishes feel like I eating Chinese foods somehow. The Pho is so so. “Bun bo hue” is just something they toss in whatever kind of noodle whatever kind of broth and put the shrimp stinky sauce in then they think it could be “bun bo hue” So I think it might be good for Chinese food but not Viet, so I give it a try “ the house tofu style” unfortunately I don't like it either it's salty and mushy. I was here 5 years ago dont want to come back for Viet food again. Some of my friends say it was a change and there is a new owner then we decided to go. But it just change the name. But don't get it wrong. I said not our choice for Viet food for us but not all people are the same. And if we want to go for Chinese food, We could come back one day and try out their big menu.
The special pho was good. The beef and chicken fried rice was decent. Portion sizes are very large for the price. The fruit tea is very good.
The spring rolls were soggy because of the piece of lettuce underneath them. The sweet and sour fish was lacking sweet and sour sauce and veggies. Lots of fish that didn't taste anything like fish. The crawfish is ok Ordered on Uber eats. Extremely disappointed and complete waste of money. Was 50$ for the three items prior to Uber fees and taxes.
A nice and small family run restaurant in London, ON. The Vietnam Taste offers Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese cuisines with a large menu with a variety of food ranging from Pho, Bun, Vietnamese rice, Pad Thai, fried rice, noodles, 6 offerings that include Pho and other Vietnamese food, chinese, soft drinks including Bubble Tea and a wide variety of appetizers. The ingredients are fresh and the pho is = delicious. We ordered both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes and we loved them both, although the chef is Vietnamese. It is a great little restaurant, in the middle of London, Ontario. My favourite was the house beef ball noodle in soup & pho, and the Pad Thai was also great . We will visit this gem of a restaurant whenever we visit London.
Tried for the first time yesterday, very good beef pho, fresh spring rolls, fried rice and spicy stir fry chicken. Ordered to be picked up after work and it was right on time. Nice staff too. Overall delicious , I will be ordering from here again :
Every time I try something new here I don't regret it. I always get big portions and really good food. If you want proper, traditional, spicy red sauce pad thai, this is one of the best spots in the city for it in my opinion!
We came here for the Pad Thai and as we have tried almost all of the Pad Thai in the city. I would rank this one top 5 in London but everyone likes something different. The food came out just on time as promised and the staff was super nice. You get a decent size of food for what you order. There is lots of free parking out front but it is a busy area.
This is by far the worse pad Thai I’ve ever had and I go to a lot of different restaurants. The other reviews were NOT wrong.. I usually want to give benefit of doubt and try for myself but never again. It was sooooooo mushy and tasted like it’s reheated. I threw out 95% of it and only ate the shrimp itself.
Their fresh rolls and spring rolls are good + inexpensive! The shakes are also all good. We didn’t enjoy anything else on the menu and a bunch of the vegetable dishes advertised as veggie had meat in them.Recommended dishesSpring Rolls and Soup
