This must be my most visited restaurant in Camden - this is real authentic Vietnamese food, all served very fresh and very quickly, just like a real cafe back in Vietnam. The portion sizes are absolutely enormous, so you really don't need a starter and a main each, so be warned! I highly recommend the galangal chicken, excellent.
One of the best restaurants in the area and in London. The negative reviews seem to be coming from wannabe food critics who have spent too much time in Shoreditch. may not be the most modern take on Vietnamese food but if you want good old fashioned South East Asian food in England for a good price i can't really look past viet-anh
If i'm honest it wasn't a very nice experience for my girlfriend, she had the soup and saw a piece of something that wasn't suppose to be there, they offered to change the bowl but, when she got the bowl there was something strange about the bowl which made me think if they really changed the bowl. My girlfriend noticed it too but, she was too polite to say anything so, I'm using the power of feedback to highlight what bad customer service can do to someone experience. It a pity really because my girlfriend loves vietnamese food, she even went over there on her travels and we have been to several food places especially in kingsland road area. Sorry
First impression is,,ok, its a take-a-way restauramt so dont expect much. The portions of those eating in were generous. I had prawn fried rice away and i was pleased with the flavours. There was a small problem but it was sorted without fuss. They dont do chicken n mushroom soup but made one for me. Id certainly eat there again.
A wide assortment of very tasty Vietnamese dishes, including a large number of vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly service and good prices, though as the restaurant is a bit small you may have to wait.
Quick for takeaway and eating in, the waiting time was 5 minutes!
