Beautiful nature! Victoria Park is a fabulous place for walking, running and cycling. You may also exercise or play games on the field. The grass is cut, it's clean and nice. You may see birds and even squirrels there.
Great place to walk, jog, cycle, exercise and for picnics. The whole area is very well maintained and has proper tracks for cycling and walking. There are designated places for football, basketball, cricket, skating and open air gym.
beautiful scenery Victoria Park is a fantastic location for cycling, walking, and running. On the field, you can practise your exercises or play games. The lawn is neatly mowed and looks great. There, you might witness squirrels and birds. A lovely green area may be found just close to the University of Leicester campus. The majestic memorial arch, constructed to honour the First World War fallen, serves as the park's focal point. The lovely wrought iron gates at the Peace Walk and London Road entrances to the parks, as well as the arch, were created by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
A great place for some quality family time. Rugby, football, multiple play areas, monuments, lovely old trees, big grassy areas lovely views and in a nice part of Leicester. Haven't been here for years but after taking my boys, nephew and niece there today I'm looking forward to going back again!
Beautifully kept, spacious park. Lots of games courts football, basketball, tennis. No rubbish lying about. Went to enjoy a picnic when visiting my son. Weather was ok a little blustery but didn't detract from this stunning open space in the heart of the city. While we tucked into our picnic we watched a group of people perhaps families or friends? play a great game of cricket Made it even more enjoyable. Plenty of parking reasonable rates & only £1 on a bank holiday. The toilet facilities were clean & well stocked.
Almost the biggest park in Leicester. 50 shade of green : great place for sports, walking, having fun, being social
Great for walking, has lots of outdoor exercises equipment, sports courts is conveniently located, has lots of paid parking spaces and some free parking on the streets
Lovely park, peace walk is great to walk through. The cafe is great when it's open.. lots of memories made in this place, it seems timeless. A great place to sit and think, have a walk or exercise at. If lucky even though its by a main road you might see a squirrel or two. Seasonally they add flowers throughout. Could be cleaner so it would be nice if people were more mindful of the environment and helped to keep it clean and tidy for others too. It really is a nice place for what it is.
Lovely big park, nice and flat if you're looking for a non challenging walk, wide open grass and tree lined paths. Some great events throughout the year and just a nice place to hang out when the weather is nice. Could do with extra litter facilities in the summer when visitor numbers are high
SHEESH, This place has the best it can offer and i would put it at the top tier of parks. Not only does it have a gym with it but it is an amazing place for jogging/exercise, also it has amazing sunsets and skies . Open wide and cool breezes a place i would definitely recommend!!
