Beautiful Park! Absolutely stunning. Great place to visit for a full day out with little ones and furry ones, young and old. Parking available and great paths for wheelchair users also. Clean and well kept gardens and you can buy an ice cream and drinks etc on site. Bring a picnic and food for the ducks! Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly.
Abbey Park is a fantastic, clean, and well-maintained gem with numerous attractions. There's an excellent children's park, plenty of walking areas, and a variety of continental vegetation. Abbey Park offers many facilities, including a café and several relaxing spots, making it perfect for any season. It has a paid parking area with limited but generally available spaces, except during events or carnivals. Alternatively, there is free roadside parking on Abbey Park Road. If you visit Leicester, Abbey Park is a must-see destination. Conveniently located near the city centre and just off Melton Road, where you'll find an array of Asian delicacies and restaurants, it's an ideal spot for a peaceful escape. You won't even realize how close you are to the city, thanks to its quiet and calm atmosphere. Playground: They have children playground and adult playground, but it has been restricted Restrooms: There is a restaurant and there is a restroom, but it's on the one corner, you have to check the inner map to fond from your location of the entry to the park. Dog-friendliness: it's dog friendly Picnic area: Plenty of picnic area
Very nice place to spend your leisure time with family. Its a big superb place. Parking is available when you come before 12. Different activities for children. For 3 hours - £3
This place has great natural resources to spend half a day. You will like it, if you are looking for a calm and quiet place. I have visited several times and will visit also. It is very close to the Leicester City center and convenient to go. Playground: A big playground will allow you to play different games. Picnic area: It's ok to have a family picnic

They have lavender garden, cricket area, flower garden, boating, ponds, ducks etc. Restrooms: There are enough washroom facilities at the center of the park. Dog-friendliness: Yes it is. Picnic area: The park has got the below; Boating lake Bowling green Changing facilities Lavender maze Orienteering courses Ping! tables Play area Sensory garden
Pleasant park with colourful life everywhere. Love the mallards, swans and all beings in the park. Lively atmosphere for a morning jog or and evening stroll.
Nice park for a walk with kids. Flowers everywhere, tidy and beautiful. A few squirrels running around, water birds with little ones.
Nice, vast park, reasonably maintained, grassland, specimen trees, water courses, lake, weir, bridges, cafe, ancient ruins, petting zoo, swings and slides Playground: Wide range of swings and slides Restrooms: Toilets at cafe Dog-friendliness: Very much so outside of playground areas. Picnic area: Lawns, grassland and benches.
Amazing park with so many to do and see. We love this park and we come here every time we can. We love the squirrels, the ducks, the gooses, all small and big birds :,everything is so peaceful. If you are up for a picnic, give it a go,it's so nice having one in here. The park is always so clean and very well maintained, flowers everywhere. I am just a bit disappointed about the playground area, for smaller kids because they could have more swings, not only 2 for smaller kids and two for bigger ones, they could have more because when it's busy you have to wait a lot for a swing, but other than that all nice. Restrooms: Yes,restrooms available.
Great spot for taking some photos it have its own beauty every season dog friendly cafe’ is a bonus for a drink or snack I do take photos quite often here for my clients/friends It have cafe on site. Children’s play area. Picnic area and benches. Old castle ruins. Few car parks. Football field, tennis area and small railway track for kids. Have lively bridge with birds always being there. Loads of flower beds. Pets corner and many more.
