This is an excellent surgery, the receptionist staff do their best for the patients. Patients can have little patience but the staff have never been rude in person or on the phone. You can always get a day to day appointment and the call queue is very very short. The GPs/ nurses there are like Marmite, the younger ones are excellent! S/O to AL & HR. The older ones are not friendly and stuck in their ways- however this surgery is better than Mount Pleasant Hole in Batley!
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a new doctor during the summer. Professional, caring, compassionate service, follow up appointment was a breeze I'm a huge fan of telephone appointments as face to face isn't always necessary. Keep the telephone appointments, more efficient all around!
I have been seen recently for a high frequency of appointments due to ill health. I have always been able to access appointments when required and find the reception team to be particularly attentive and extremely helpful going the extra mile.
Phoned up to get my partner telephone appointment because she ill and needs antibiotics and all she got was phone up at 8 in morning or phone 111 useless there on strike as it is the drs seem to be putting more pressure on the nhs emergency services discusting
My poor mum was misdiagnosed with hepatitis A, with no further follow up. It turned out to be that she was expressing an immune response to stage 3 lung cancer, so not hepatitis A at all. She was fobbed off for months, and has since passed away due to Dr. Thakur's negligence.
First of all praise where praise is due. Youve been amazing through this pandemic and I applaud you all I recently suffered a life changing condition and ve had to call the surgery numerous times receptionists Nicole and Sapha have been kind and understanding in trying to resolve a number of issues. Kudos also to many who is as always efficient and brilliant at her job. Always been rubbish getting through but today takes the p*** been on hold for 2 hours starting at position 18. After 2 hours reached 6th in the queue but I’m guessing 2 hours is the max time to be on hold and it hung up. Tried 9 times to call back for the line to keep going dead. I don’t leave negative reviews on stuff but feel I had to on this. Only day I could get down with my son aswell while he’s off for Easter. Gonna have to have him take a day off school next week. Now
The receptionist was amazing and did everything correct concerning my 13 month old baby , unfortunately the Dr who wasn't present who I spoke to over the telephone was extremely arrogant and expected me to know it was eczema regardless of me telling him my concerns of it being something other than that due to my X's family suffering from a rare and severe skin condition . I have made an appointment face to face today and fingers crossed it's not the Dr I spoke to over the phone . Had a face to face appointment with a Dr and I must say he was polite and reasonably helpful.
I was able to get an appointment really quick, once over the phone and another due to certain clinics being made available online. I’ve had an appointment with Dr. Maqbool and the Practice Nurse Emma who both put me at ease and we’re so kind and helpful. The staff are all wonderful and doing a great job during such a difficult time with the ongoing pandemic. Thank you to you all
Took my 4 year old son to see Dr Dadibhai today. He listened attentively, communicated very well and addressed my concerns. Was very to get an appointment and all staff were very professional. Lucky to have such a good GP surgery near me.
