There is a receptionist called Aisha who is extremely rude and unprofessional, and lies as i phoned to complain and she said what is it regarding, I said I would like to put complaint in about her and she said it's wasn't her who I spoke to when it clearly was, she doesn't know how to talk to patients and clearly does not know what shes talking about, the receptionists need more training on how to speak to patients when on the phone. On a whole the surgery is a joke, there is no communication between the surgery and pharmacy even though they are both in the same building, quite scary to think these people are dealing with peoples mental health, physical health and serious medication. This surgery clearly has safeguarding concerns as dont review patients medication on time and when you ring up they say its your problem as you should chase it up, but how are the patients meant to review they own medication.
Well where do I start. Ive been with this surgery years when it was in west park st.nMy daughters was very poorly n appointmemt was at 11.18. Still were sat here. N its 12.24. She keeps saying ur next but ppl r coming n goin be4 us. This is absolutley joke. Its hot outside soon. Other kids in car with partner. Very hot day. I guess they not bothered they working slow paste with AC. Shame
I have been to a few surgeries now and i have finally found the best one and will stick to healds road now, a special thanks to the reception staff every time i call they are so kind , professional and polite they never make me feel like im putting them out. It really eases my anxieties around calling the surgery for an appointment or query thankyou
Whilst most of the time my appointments have been quite useful, I’ve found that the receptionists can sometimes be a bit misleading.nnOn one occasion I called and asked to be seen by a GP for an issue and was not told that I was to be seen by a PA. On receiving a prescription I had to wait ~45 minutes for it to be approved by a GP before the pharmacy could start processing it, meaning I waited about an hour.nnOn a separate occasion, I was told I could be seen by a dermatologist on a Thursday. I said yes to this, thinking that a dermatologist was a consultant/resident doctor who has specialised in dermatology. However this was not the case and I was seen by an ACP in dermatology - which is not the same thing as being a dermatologist.nnRealistically, any patient who is told they will be seen by a dermatologist will think they are being seen by a “doctor” and it would be disingenuous to say otherwise.nnNo disrespect to the professionals I was eventually seen by, but i just think it’s important to be honest to patients about who they are being seen by. My trust in this practice has decreased, and I now only book appointments via the app so I know who I am being seen by. Others may not have this same luxury as they may not be as familiar with the app, which is why I think it’s important to write this review.nnEdit 15/04/26nnIt’s unfortunate that this GP still doesn’t seem to take this issue as seriously as they should. On the NHS app, it refers to Physician Assistants as “Medical Professionals”, which is intentionally misleading, when they could just be referred to by their role name.nnThey do however specify if an appointment is with a healthcare assistant - why they don’t do the same with PAs?nnI think the patients at this GP would benefit from some sort of communication by the GP who have replied to this review previously saying they’d review this.
So far so good came from a terrible gps could never get appointments struggling to get medication on the days needed, since coming here ive had no problems with meds or appointments the staff seem really nice and polite, doctors speak to you like the actually care.
