Great area to relax in and has been well looked after for a very long time. Used to enjoy hanging out here back in the mid-late 00s, so it’s always nice to stop by the gardens still whenever I’m in Truro. There was a brass band playing last time, it was pretty chill
Nice gardens. You can see lots of trees and plants around. There is plenty of seating, some undercover and some that are not. Some of the paths can by quite steep in places, for both up and down the garden paths. There is a couple of ponds one with a statue and the other not as obvious. There is a cafe at the top, but that is open during the summer season.
Very well kept Truro City Council gardens. Colourful planting and interesting varieties make this a really nice place to rest in peaceful surroundings. The bandstand features performances on summer Sunday afternoons.
Lovely escape from town. The gardens always look great in the summer. And this Christmas it was all lit up for late night shopping, with music and refreshments.
Lovely little oasis in the middle of the city but needs some TLC in regards to the pond and fountain.
Nice little park, situated on a hill, with nice view to a near by viaduct and a small chapel, very well kept and a great place for an afternoon walk or jog.
Beautiful, quiet well kept and well used with small groups of young and old, sitting and talking, laughing and joking. A lovely experience.
Visited to take part in the Easter egg hunt, which my daughter enjoyed. I liked the gardens, but it's a shame to see the ponds looking so unloved.
I liked the little bit that I saw that I walked through on a sunny but cold day. Nice peace full place, you wouldn't believe your so close to a city.
Victoria Gardens is a beautiful oasis of calmness in the City of Truro. During the summer months there is brass bands playing on Sundays 2pm to 4pm. If you are looking to escape the bidding crowd then this is the place.
