Beautiful spot just a few minutes from town. A lovely walk along the river round to Sunny Corner. Carry on past there and you come to Malpas village with the Beautiful Heron Inn looking over the river.
Great park for kids. Plenty of structures to climb on. Toilets on site, picnic benches and a cafe and lake over the road
Lovely park next to river. Well kept, smooth tarmac paths so wheelchair accessible. Children's play area. Table tennis and Tennis courts, some adult exercise machines. Free parking of around 60 spaces in car park and street.
It's a park. Not a great one, but alongside the river. Limited dog access, but pretty enough - though seemed mostly devoted to football or cricket playing fields that appeared out of bounds to other mortals.
Lovely Park to go for a walk around, or take the kids as there is plenty of room to kick a ball around or ride a bike as well as a playground. There is a nice walk right around the edge along the river that I had no idea existed even after going to the park since I was a child. Right opposite is a lake with swans and ducks, perfect little walk and experience the wildlife. PS apparently we should not feed the ducks bread.
It has a beautiful garden to walk through, not overly big. A large park area where dogs are not allowed but you can walk down the riverside with them. Amazing views and birdlife when the tide is out.
Lovely park. Nice for a stroll around and a walk by the waters edge.We just sat by the waterside watching the wading birds. Saw a cormorant wrestling with a flat fish that it had caught. Fabulous
Lovely place to meander the day away
Great park by the river. We'll tended flower beds, big children's play area, and ideal for SMALL children on bikes. Dogs welcome on leads..A couple of food outlets, we had pasties which were quite good. Loo passable. Parking mostly on the road and it gets very busy, we were lucky someone pulled out as we came along. Also a nice Riverside walk.
Beautiful park with pretty flowers nice to walk round and nice for children to play.. I love the crooked house .
