We’ve just bought an absolute beauty from Vic Young and honestly, the experience was faultless from start to finish.nnShaun our salesman was fantastic — friendly, professional, no pushy sales tactics, and genuinely helpful. He answered every question we had and made the whole process feel effortless.nnWe bagged a real bargain — the car was exactly as described, in brilliant condition, came fully valeted, safety checked, with a full battery, one-year warranty, and even six months road tax included! I’ve just driven 150 miles home in it and it was an absolute dream.nnThe whole team gave off such a great vibe — everyone seemed happy in their work, which says everything. You can really tell this is a well-run, family business with over 50 years of experience behind it.nnWe travelled across the country for this car and it was worth every mile. No hard sell, no surprises — just an honest, genuine, outstanding dealership. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.nn Brilliant car. Brilliant service. Brilliant company.
This dealership has given me one of the worst buying experiences I have ever encountered, and that is saying a lot. I left a deposit on 29/12/2025 and paid the full balance for the car on 05/01/2026, trusting this company to act professionally especially since I am over 300 miles away and couldn’t view the vehicle in person.nnThat trust was completely misplaced.nnOnly after taking my money did I receive a video showing that every single alloy wheel was severely curbed, something conveniently not shown in the advert. These wheels looked awful, and any reputable dealership would have addressed that during prep. On top of that, the convertible roof was missing a clip, another basic issue that should have been sorted before advertising a £23,000 vehicle.nnI had already arranged to travel from London to Newcastle on 11th January, insured the car, and booked non-refundable tickets. Then, on the 8th of January, I was suddenly informed that the car had “additional faults.” No detail, no transparency, nothing but vague excuses long after they had taken my money.nnWhen I called to get clarity, things went from bad to disgraceful. I was put through to someone claiming to be a sales manager, Darren Hannah, who spoke to me with one of the worst attitudes I have ever experienced in customer service. Rude, abrupt, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. I genuinely could not believe this was a manager representing a business.nnInstead of explaining anything, he repeatedly threatened to cancel the sale, despite me never mentioning cancellation. I was simply asking when my fully paid for car would be ready. His tone was vile, and his behaviour was completely unacceptable especially toward someone who had just spent £23,000 with their dealership.nnThen came the final insult: I was told it would take four weeks to fix a supposed “speaker fault.” At that point, it felt blatantly like they were trying to push me out of the deal rather than take responsibility for issues they should have disclosed from the start.nnThis dealership has shown me no honesty, no respect, and absolutely no professionalism. The entire process has been a stressful, frustrating mess, and the way I was treated was appalling.nnI would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from here to stay far away. They have wasted my time, my money, and my trust.
Purchased a car from Callum Young, via the internet. When I arrived to view and vonfirm purchase Callum was very pleaseant to talk yo and deal with. The quality if the car was was was described and the pictures did not do the vehicle justice. Like new.nnCallum had all the documentation at hand and the deal was completed very quickly and very easily.nnI would definately deal with Callum again.nnThanks
