I always take both my cars here, never had an issue. Always been honest and reasonably priced , repairs are done when they say they will be. Reccomended to friends who have said the same .
Highly recommended; great value and great banter with staff. Turned up on a cold Saturday to have my over-tightened Locking Wheel Nut loosened. Danny was informative and thoughtful, and is a genuine mechanic. Will be trusting him with my car in the future!
Called today as 12th April as my vehicle had broken down dead battery as I had left the lights while waiting for my mum at hospital, sadly we received some bad news and my father was not going to make a recovery, he came promptly and started the car in a very professional manner and waived the call out fee. Could not recommended this garage enough 10/10 thank you very much you saved us allot of stress.Services: Auto engine diagnostic
Not a service I would trust. After my cars cat was stolen. We asked the garage if they could JUST inspect whats been damaged and what needs buying. Turned out on the day he already bought the parts without letting us know and charging a hefty price. Decided no and had the car returned to which it's middle exhaust was missing. Went back to ask for the middle exhaust back, asked why they kept the middle exhaust where they said it's damaged. Regardless if it's damaged or not, you should have informed us and gave it back with the car when we decided to not use the service. Never again
Excellent garage! Cannot speak highly enough of the staff and service there. Car probs on a flying visit with my son and grandson and not only did they fix the problem there and then but refused to take payment! Gave me faith in human nature
Danny is a top tier mechanic,got me sorted right away. Excellent pricing and he let me know a few problems that the bigger garages hadn't picked up on.
I have had vans for my business for over 30 years and have been let's say over charged and possible ripped off I had the aa out to check my van they said it was the fly wheel I rang a round as you do and Danny from Whitehall was the cheapest I booked it in to get the work done they estimated at £640.00 I got a call from Danny to say the van was ready to pick up went to get it and was amazed he said he had found the problem and fixed it it was something to do with engine mountains i said how much do I owe you he said including parts £130.00 I would never take the van or my car any where else Whitehall garage Danny and his lads very honest reliable and reasonable thanks again
Excellent and friendly. I was touring and found this garage in a side street in South Shields when my Astra Estate was needing a quick repair. They not only fixed it there and then but refused all payment. Can't praise them enough.
Been here in the past and only previously had good things to say about Whitehalls. But recently got messed around badly. When I told the boss to refrain on doing any work to my car because I was still deciding on whether to scrap it or not he still ordered the parts. Just because he rang me once and in his words "couldn't contract me" so just ordered the parts anyway. Then when I told him to keep it as the work would cost more than the car value I asked for my battery back. He said he would drop it off my house but had to ring him 3 different occasions to do it. as he was busy and since it was raining he couldn't drop me off. How does that affect him dropping it off? He did drop it off on the 3rd occasion but know that he would of just left it if I didn't pester him.
Great garage staff friendly except the jock lol.
