My partner and I have just bought a 2021 Ford Kuga from Lookers Ford South Shields after finding the car listed online and arranging a test drive. We were assisted by Mark Green, who was fantastic throughout the whole process.nnMark was very personable, professional, and never put any pressure on us to buy. After the test drive, we decided to go ahead with the purchase. There was a small scratch on the car, but this was repaired before collection, and the car was freshly valeted.nnWe did have a bit of a nightmare on collection day as I accidentally brought the old V5 for our part ex. Thankfully, we were able to get photos of the correct V5 so we could take the car that day, with Mark kindly agreeing that I could bring the original V5 in a couple of days later, which I did.nnMy partner and I have had bad experiences with other garages in the past, so we’re often sceptical of car salespeople. Too often, promises are made before purchase and forgotten at collection. For example, I once bought a car elsewhere that had a cracked windscreen, I was told it would be fixed, but when it was delivered, the car was just left on the drive with the keys handed over and no repair done, it then took over a month to get the repair done by the garage.nnOur experience at Lookers Ford South Shields couldn’t have been more different. Everything promised was delivered, and Mark’s honesty and professionalism really stood out. We’ll be returning to Lookers Ford South Shields in the future and we’ll be asking for Mark when it’s time to change cars again.
Absolutely Shocking Customer Service.nThey had 3 weeks to prepare a car for collection and it had been touched.nNot even a Dirty Rag wiped over it.nEven algae on the rubber trims.nIt had a Warning Light on when the Test Drive was taken and it was still there when the Car was picked up.nDisgraceful.nFurther to my Review, it cost £150 for a Full Valet at our own Cost.nLookers South Shields did reimburse the cost of the Valet which took 5 man hours.nThe Warning Light has been rectified but, sadly, the Service Manager said it was our fault it was left on !!!!!!
After having a NIGHTMARE trying to purchase a car through another garage, I came across this little beauty on the lookers website. Instantly fell in love with the look of the car and requested a viewing straight away. This is when I came in to contact with Dale Nesbit. He has been nothing but AMAZING when it has come to purchasing this car. He’s been so patient with me, very efficient with his work and helpful in terms of explaining the whole process through for me. His honesty and friendliness has also made me feel very comfortable and confident with this purchase. He went above and beyond for me. Could not recommend his service enough. Dale also arranged i hoke delivery for me as I live quite a distance from the garage. When I got home from work and saw the car gleaming on the drive, I was over the moon. Very clean, inside and out immaculate. Thanks again for your great service and the recommendation on the new wheel colour. As you can see, it was a great choice.
Just bought a used Ford Focus & from test drive to driving it away was 1 week. I dealt with Karl, who was spot on and helped me get a deal I was happy with while always being transparent about my options. The car was immaculate, I just needed to inflate one of the tyres but no hassle. Overall I’m really impressed, thanks!
I bought a car from lookers just over 2years ago n the salesman Gethin Williams really looked after me. So I recently went back and decided to trade in my Mitsubishi Outlander and got a incredible deal on it n was able to purchase a Ford Focus Estate ST-Line from Gethin who was fantastic at sorting out all the details to get the car ready n everything changed over. I couldn't recommend this guy anymore if your calling into the South Shields Lookers branch seek this guy out he really does go above n beyond to help you find the perfect motor n get you on the road with the minimum of fuss. First class service 5 stars from me!!
