Due to COVID reasons I tapped the card to find out tonight that I got charged 7.76 ie 12.5% service charge for a beer and three tiny slices of iberic ham when the ad stated 6.90 GBP and with far many more slices. At the original shop in Salamanca it was fun and of utmost quality and I was a convert having gone several times to the Sth Ken shop. But if I do come back to the Lloyd's one I will make sure a- I get a receipt first b- I do get a decent number of slices. c-I get the staff to confirm the amount. Very disappointing to get mugged off is just a bad memory of yesteryear. However now it is all good in the hood con mi ración ibérica. And as a nice recent gesture invita la casa me dijo el señor más simpático.
A pretty decent experience of some typical Spanish jamon and cheeses. Prices are fair - which is more than can be said of most of these type of places - and the quality good. The staff was super friendly and happy - contagious smiles :- RECOMMENDED for a quick snack and a glass of good wine!
The Jamón is very delicious. Ordered a sandwich with Jamón, they gave you a lot more than you expected Jamón ! Affordable with high quality.
The worst place to be in London: not for the food probably it is good but for the service.. we were queuing 8 people and and we said we could wait and splint in more table! The waiters simply replied they didn’t have a table for us !!! I think a bad and racist behavior towards tourists…. Probably they earn enough money.. but not mine !
Sandwiches quite dry because they just contain ham and/or cheese with no oil, butter, mayo etc.. This should be an option.
I work in customer service and the waiters barely spoke to us. They treated us disrespectfully. When we were seated at a table the order was taken after a while, after some other customers came. The order was incomplete and they gave us the rest after we made a request. The mimosa was made with an old prosecco and it was not the best. When it comes to the service charge, we asked because this is not normal and they told us that is OPTIONALLY. They weren’t happy about us not paying but we managed not to pay it. You just need to ask for it
I tried a Ham and Cheese Bocadillo which was not too bad price for London £6.5, but as I sit there, they already charge £2.50 more for each product than taking away. When I had to pay they were also adding Service charge, which I asked first if it was optional as in other places, due to the bocadillo was okay but not stunning plus it was not fresh as they served the same ones they have in the window. Then when she confimed it I decided to do not pay the charge service. The waitress said she couldn't remove it from the bill after saying it was optional, started to being rude to me and I had to keep saying there is nothing wrong, I just do not want to pay it as I'm already paying for sitting outside. She went back to check and did another bill not breaking down what I took and adding again the service. I just didn't want to argue, so I decided to pay and she only took 50p out of the bill, thinking I wasn't going to figure it out Bad service at the end and I do not recommend it as it's expensive for the quality of food and rudeness that you have to stand when it's your right to choose.
First time went to Viandas and taste good. 10/10

Outstanding food, wine and attentive, charming service. A hearty bottle of red, a plate of acorn fed aged ham and fine dining quality cheese. One happy customer.
