We went to champagne route for New Year’s Eve, a group of 12 of us. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. We booked through design my night. I made a mistake of not asking about vegetarian options ahead of our booking but they were very accommodating and the veggie option was excellent! Everyone in my group loved the food. Each dish was made to the finest detail! Highly recommend Champagne Route. I wish I had taken pictures of the food but honestly we all ate so quickly because it was so delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and beautiful wine bottles on display on several walls of the restaurant, along with a full bar.
Another great evening at Champagne Route bar. Had some fine Champagnes and a drop of rum too. The duck pate with sweet, glazed onions is tops generous portions always, I'm going to have to highlight my favourite dish there which is the burger and fries! Kid-friendliness: Two families there with little ones in prams, customers respect each other so no noise. Dietary restrictions: Happily accommodated niggly dietary requirements, including my dislike for mushrooms!
I love this place! Definitely a great brunch spot with a good selection of savoury or sweet brunch options and a great selection of champagne for your mimosa the owner and staff are very friendly and provide great service. Thank you so much for a lovely experience! A must try if you are near Wapping or St Katherine’s Docks
If you're ever in London, do go to Champagne Route. What an amazing experience. The owner, Paul, is personable and knowledgeable about beers and champagnes. The food was off the charts. Cheers!
I went with a friend last night to Champagne Route and we had the most lovely time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant has great ambiance, cosy but sophisticated. We shared the Bruschetta with parma ham and tomato garlic sauce to start, which was delicious, I particularly loved the sauce that had a mousse like texture and the careful presentation of our meal. For my main I had the Confit Chicken, mushroom ballotine, pan fried kale, red wine sauce garnished with pomegranate - which was cooked to perfect tenderness. My friend has the Gruyere and asparagus tartlet with mixeld leaf salad, which I didn't have a chance to try but was told was delicious! We matched our food to the house wine, both perfectly lovely. All in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and look forward to coming for food again!
My fiancé and I went here right after I proposed to her to celebrate with champagne before heading to dinner. The experience was wonderful! I am from the US and was only in London a couple of days beforehand. They were extremely helpful messaging back and forth to ensure that everything would be set up and give recommendations. Upon arrival, everything was perfect. They had a table set up that created a special moment for the 2 of us. It was an intimate setting and the service was very good. A complimentary eclair was given to us to say congratulations! I would highly recommend this spot for both the atmosphere and the great staff.
Champagne Route is an excellent venue for intimate or group events. The atmosphere is pleasing and the owner goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. I have been a guest since it opened and still cannot get enough of this place.
We have been regular customers for several years. The atmosphere, service, food, drink and value for money never disappoint. A semi- hidden gem, appealing equally to locals, to visitors, to theatre-goers at Wilton's Music Hall, and of course to lovers of fine food, fine drinks and realistic prices
Love this venue. Fairly new and loving the ambiance. Great customer experience. Great staff. Great food Second visit: Still loving it. Great food Good quality down to the rock salt and crushed black pepper Another visit: Best cheesecake ever!!! A must to order
Went today for a quick lunch. My friend had a lentil salad and quite disappointed that the bowl was tiny and only full with lentils with no greens. I had the Chicken Creamy Mushroom sauce, rice was not properly cook and some of them are burnt, sauce was very very salty. Environment is good but not impress with the food
