I used these vets for 3 years, with my last dog. They are all friendly and polite. However, they have recently changed their policy and are more about money than the pets and won't see you if you can't pay upfront. The last time I visited, I saw a new vet, and she was pushing me to give my dog an operation for his laxating patellars. He is 3 years old and I would rather put off, giving him an operation, until absolutely necessary. I don't want him to have an anaesthetic if possibly avoided. Plus, he would need 5 weeks to rest and recover. He is a very active and energetic dog who loves his walks. If we stay home, for one day, he goes crazy the next day, charging about everywhere, when we go out. I went elsewhere for a second opinion. She asked to see him walking about and watched him closely. She said that he seemed to be managing quite well himself and didn't see the need to put him through the operation now, unless that's what I wanted. If I felt it impacted his daily life, or he was in pain, then I would say yes to the operation. He sometimes walks sideways and stretches his back legs a lot. But he's not in any pain and he runs about and plays as he should.
Our vet, Loana, always makes both my dog and I feel completely comfortable. She takes it slow with my dog and she's the only vet that my dog feels safe and comfortable with, I can't rate her highly enough, as well as the rest of the staff at vets 4 pets Swindon. They always have the interest of the pet and owner first, never make me feel like a burden and always answer any questions with genuine understanding and compassion.
Tanya our vet is amazing. She's honest and non judgemental and easy to have a proper conversation about your pet. Been with these vets a long time and wouldn't go anywhere else. Friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely staff, all very friendly you can really tell they appreciate there clients and animals highly recommend. And our 2 dogs angel and luna love going

We had exceptional service from the team at Vets 4 Pets in Stratton recently when our dog suffered a stick injury to her throat. The team went above and beyond to get our dog seen as quickly as possible, rearranging other appointments, and finding time they didn't really have to treat her. We're so thankful to them for their efforts and for the kindness and consideration extended to us and out pet. Outside of this incident we've always received a great service from the practice, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Always changing routine appointments due to lack of staff not good enough when your paying for 3 pets on there health plans Happens all the time got a call on the 6th september as appointment for the 23rd september was cancelled due to staff sick no vet delayed for another week till 30th .
Vicky at reception was very helpful and understanding of my problems. She recommended all things I needed to use for my cats

I recently adopted two rats from pets at home for my daughter. The assistant was brilliant she very helpful and answered all my questioned .they have settled in great we all love them they are playful and brilliant therapy animals. This is my 4th purchase of animals from here I recommend them warm helpful and friendly
