From the moment you go in you are filled with confidence that your pet will be looked after they give you helpful advice they recormend Pet plan insurance this gives you piece of mind at a good monthly rate. Having a new cat they took us threw all the medication requirements and treatments . Friendly helpful knowledgeable.
Very friendly staff, vets and receptionists. The vets are very knowledgeable, explain things well and are thorough in their appointments with our cats. They looked after our difficult cat very well when she was sick and made us feel at ease about the care and treatment that she needed. They have also taken in birds our naughty cat has gotten and treated them. Wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend to others.
Amazing service, friendly staff and so dedicated to their job and thanks to them I got adorable kitten to look after.
Excellent service, very polite and friendly. The only thing was I had to wait 35mins over my appointment time, however time went very quick as we got talking to other pet owners so it was not to bad. Lovely clean premises, vets are really excellent.. Very proud to bring my cat here. They always send you reminder tex's which is excellent. Unfortunately now it is closed down, no warning, no letter or email, however they did refund me unexpectedly.
Wonderful friendly staff who genuinely care about your pet and not how much they can get out of you. My English bulldog is Registered with them and became ill he was seen withing an hour of me calling and thoroughly examined ..the consultation medication and special three day diet cost me £75 which is cheap ....my dog has already improved and I was only there a few hours ago...I was given good advice and felt much better leaving the vets than I did when I walked in with a sick puppy . Definitely recommend these vets
I visit here with all my pets, the staff are so lovely and I always get everything explained without being patronised or judged. You can tell they all sincerely care about the animals in their care. They were very compassionate when I lost my rabbit here too.
Appalling care, appalling attitude. Vets are difficult to understand as their English is not brilliant. My 12 year old dog was prescribed a high dose of steroids for an ear infection and despite advising them a week later he was vomiting was advised to keep him on them for a further 10 days!!!! He became very ill last weekend and had to be taken to out of hours on Sunday at a cost of £500. £84 of this was for repeat bloods as out of hours as directed to on their out of office message were not sent his history. This was also after spending nearly £200 on Saturday here with advice they were happy for me to Home treat with an option of taking him to out of hours if his condition worsened. Vet in the out of hours said she was concerned and surprised at as the dose of steroid prescribed ‘a very high dose’. He was discharged Sunday evening after receiving treatment for an ulcer obviously steroid related as he has no history of gastro problems in fact a very healthy robust dog I called yesterday to inform of vomiting and asked the receptionist if I could speak to a vet as I was concerned. She informed me the vet was in theatre and would call me back. He/she did not return my call. I asked if I could send a picture of his vomit and she said she would send me a link so that I could email it of course she did not send the link. I called again this evening as my dog is still lethargic, panting, uninterested in everything, dropping down and making gagging noises. Response out of hours or bring tomorrow. I asked if I would have to continue paying for the same problem I.e money every time I walk in the door. Surprise YES unless I am in receipt of benefits!! I wish I had never stepped foot in this place. Warning... My dog has gone from a very healthy boy walking 5 miles daily to a shadow of his former self who can barely walk 200 metres in ONE. week. I need answers!!
Pre-ordered medication for my dog that she has been taking for several years, 72 hours later I get a call saying the vet would like to see her for a routine check up before handing out the medication. Took her in with the appointment that was booked that day and when entered the consultation room was asked why I have brought her in, had to explain that they asked me come in. After completing the health check I was given the medication but not the amount I’d ordered so now have to return to collect the missing medication which will take another 48 hours. Also when in the check up, I asked when her booster vaccinations were due only to be told that these were now 6 months over, so she will need 2 boosters costing more money than if she’d had them on time. Disappointed that vets for pets do not track this and inform us that she is due a booster injection. Finally I was asked if I wanted her to have a blood test? Surely this is a decision that you need to take if you believe that she is due one because of her taking metacam?? Very unprofessional and feel like I need to move vets
I phoned vets4pets 3 days ago to arrange to pick up my dogs next lot of tablets, these are on repeat prescription and every single time I have problems, I'm told when the tablets will be ready to be picked up and they will phone me if there's any problems. The tablets are never ready and the receptionist has no idea what I'm talking about, they never have the correct amount so I have to make more visits, today when picking up the latest batch of pills again the receptionist had no idea about them, she asked me when I phoned the repeat order in as she couldn't find anything about it, she then managed to get some but again not the correct amount, she asked me why hadn't my dog been seen by the vet since 2017! , my dog is regularly seen by the vet, so I don't know why she said that, she seemed to have no idea what she was doing, if I find a closer vet I am leaving this one, as it is I only use them for the medication and if my dogs were ever ill I would never use the Sheldon branch, also the vets come and go so there is no continuity of care, just a parade of foreign vets which are sometimes hard to understand.
Great friendly service. Staff are professional, down to earth and speak to you using layman's terms. All the price breakdowns are explained at consultation and there is never a hard sell. The place is very clean, with a decent waiting area.
