Stayed at velvet cottage in late 2015. Have to say the location was amazing and the owners Ian and Yvonne could not do enough for us.nnWe took our two dogs who were very happy there and it was great to have walks right on the door step. The views from the bedrooms, kitchen and living room were amazing and everything was lovely and clean when we arrived. Plus a complimentary bottle of wine helped us to relax after our journey.nnGreat value for money and a superb location. We would definitely go back again
My second time visiting here! Great location, great place to stay everything thought about in this lovely cottage and great value for money! Another great weekend of adventures here in Wales due to being able to stay in such a homely cottage! Let's face it nothing better than a good brew and to put your feet up in homely accommodation! Hats of to the owners top marks!
Great place to stay and excellent LocationnWe have visited Velvet cottage twice another time we stayed in the cottage next door, so we have been to the location three times.nVelvet cottage is cosy -but not small- and has great views from the kitchen/dinner which you can enjoy rain or shine. It has a terrace with great views at the front and a secluded terrace at the back where you can enjoy a drink while watching the sheep pass by; really relaxing. Every time we’ve been here we have seen a rainbow and also strange small clouds forming across the road. It is very interesting. Several pubs walking distance. Let’s hope they survive the lockdowns and restrictions!nThe owners, Ian and Yvonne, are very responsive and accommodating specially this last time with all the covid restrictions.
Visited Velvet cottage over new year 2013/2014. The location is fantastic and the cottage has everything you could need.nnWe fully intend to visit again and make use of the fantastic facilities
Lovely little cottage for families and dog owners. Ideal location to explore Llangollen and horseshoe pass. No problems with anything.
