I purchased some beer from their on-line shop on the 3rd of January, and it has not yet been sent 15.02.24. They took my order, took my money and then I got to hear that they had gone on holiday to Canada.nnI have been trying to contact them by Phone, Email, Facebook Messenger, their contact us link on their web site, info@llangollen....... email address, the owners personal Email emails bounce back saying it is full and the Hotel where the brewery is located.nnI have not yet had any reply.nBeware if you are thinking of buying any beer for home from them.
Came here for the Llangollen Brewery ales. Sadly, on a Friday afternoon in August, there were none on. Had to settle for an expensive keg cider. Nearly 10 quid for a pint, and a portion of chips which took over half an hour to arrive. Also had unsupervised children running around and shouting. A shame, as I was looking forward to a beer after a lovely long walk. On the plus side, the chips were very good and the staff were friendly.
Worst beer you could buy seriously!!nIt tasted like dish water. I purchased this from a stall at the Chester Christmas market a couple of years ago and it was bad. I tried all three bottles of Llangollen beer n each was as bad. These bottles had been opened within 7 days of buying them, so anyone trying to say it was old beer well forget it. The person filling n brewing this beer didn’t have a clue what they are doing and trading standards needs to get involved with this outfit. The product is simply not fit for purpose. I did tell the guy at Chester Christmas Market n he wast bothered. I go to Camra events in the North West, so I don’t need telling what constitutes a good beer. I admit, this post is approx 2 years after the event, but hey when you take good money from folk and give them rubbish the customer will bite..
We travelled a long way off the main road to try this. The brewery supplies the Abbey Grange beside them. They had no craft beer, poor and unfriendly service and it is generally just a well passed use by dump. We left to go a few hundred metres up the road to the Britannia Inn for good service, friendly faces and good beer
Ordered a case of 12 ales,waited a month and then when I contacted them they said I should have been told they were waiting for more supplies. Informed that my order had been dispatched that day Friday and I'd receive it Monday. Monday arrived but beer didn't! Contacted brewery again but no response. Finally heard from courier that they'd picked the order up on Thursday 6 days after I'd been told it had been sent. Beers almost all flat upon opening. Won't waste my time or money on any further purchases.
