Went to the beginners dim sum class led by Will - we learnt how to make 3 different types of dim sum. Vegan options available if you let them know in advance! We loved it - Will had so much energy and we learnt so much, thank you!
Very fun Dim Dum beginners course that I would highly recommend where you learn to make three types of dumpling. Class is for roughly 14 people and you sit at your own station at a large table, making the dough for two different types of dumpling the third pastry comes ready made. Class is very much for beginners like myself and you learn how to make both the pastry and prepare the pork & prawn filling. You can also have a drink while there, it’s a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere though you do need to concentrate somewhat when preparing the filling using salt and flower etc. I believe our instructor was Kianna although I may have forgotten her name - she was very knowledgeable and friendly in demonstrating how to make the dumplings and showing the slightly pesky folding technique on the dough.
Amazing class! Learnt tons of cooking tips and made my first dim sum The teacher Will was super friendly and funny, made the whole experience a very memorable thing. I will definitely come back for more classes and highly recommend Will to everyone who wants to learn cooking in a very simple and fun way.
This was one of my favourite experiences I’ve had in London. I attended the Dim Sum cooking class with Will and had so much fun, Not only was it informative and engaging but also super funny!
I attended the Dim Sum 3h cooking class with my boyfriend and it was delightful. Our teacher Will was quick to make all the guests feel relaxed and excited and kept us engaged all the way through. The way we were taught all the tricks for the dough and the fillings and the shaping of the dim sums was easy to follow and very fun to learn. Will is obviously experienced in what he does and is also capable of lightening up the mood for beginners who find the shaping of the dim sum difficult. The class ended with our cooked dim sums tasting great and a lot of interesting new knowledge regarding this dish. I would highly recommend as a gift for a parent or partner or friend, it’s a great experience

We loved our Sunday spent making delicious dim sum from scratch. Thank you Will for all your tips, patience, wisdom and little black book of terrible jokes. We'll be back soon to do the sushi masterclass!
I did a Dim Sum lesson with Will. The place was very clean and well organised. Will was very funny and professional, he gave us loads of great tips to make amazing Dim Sum. It turn out very tasty! A really nice way to start my Saturday, I highly recommend it!
I was bought a sushi making experience as a gift and it was brilliant. Will taught us and he was so enthusiastic, detailed and clear. The sushi was great, you get to make loads and then eat it all after!
My wife, daughter and I took a dim sum class this past weekend with Will from the London Cookery School. My daughter purchased this class for us as a Christmas gift, all of us to do together. The experience was far better than I had imagined. Will – the instructor and owner of the school – is an excellent instructor. He was engaging and entertaining, and the three hour experience passed very fast as a result. We love dim sum, and this is absolutely the perfect introductory class. We got to eat what we made at the end, and that was the real cherry on the cake. We are all keen to develop our skills at home for dim sum, and Will got us off to a flying start. We might go back and try the school’s sushi prep class too, because if it is of the same calibre as the dim sum class, it would be outstanding. I highly recommend this class. You will find your afternoon with Will delightful, and you will leave with an excellent knowledge of how to make dim sum. It is a great way to spend a half day with friends or family.
