We had a brilliant time here at the Underground Cookery School - it’s a fantastic venue for hosting fun and informal team building events. Our team contained a mix of confident cooks and complete novices - but everyone got stuck in and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were super friendly, and guided us through the whole process with clear instructions and a sense of humour! They also offered some really good tips and were very knowledgeable. The food was equally fabulous! Highly recommended.
I was in Underground Cookery school this week as part of a team building work event and I really enjoyed it. It's a great alternative if you are looking for dinner plans that can also be fun, provide more opportunities to mingle and bond in a different way. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive, especial call out to Carlos!
I booked the 3 course brasserie menu for a group of 14 for my best friend's hen party and it was worth every penny. Cannot recommend highly enough. The class was brilliant and so much fun. The instructors are interesting, knowledgeable, patient necessary with a hen party! and funny. We made our own tagliatelle, filleted our sea bream and made italian meringue for our dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it: home made cookies on arrival, mushroom and truffle tagliatelle to start, sea bream with leek puree and crushed potatoes for main and a delicious chocolate and salted caramel dessert. There was also an abundance of alcohol and they were not stingy with it! We had expected a welcome drink and then perhaps some alcohol with the meal but our glasses were continually topped up throughout the whole event - I'm not sure my glass was ever empty! There was also plenty of choice, from prosecco, wine and beer to a range of soft drinks. We were also given plenty of time once the cooking was done to enjoy our food and drinks around the table and did not once feel rushed out or pressured to leave, as can be the case in some places. A fantastic and unusual hen party choice with delicious food and brilliant service - worth every penny and a great way to bring together a group of people who may not necessarily all know each other.
Absolutely fantastic! What an amazing day. The team are brilliant and the final result the food was amazing. I have no cooking skills but managed to get through the day, learn a lot of new skills the team are super patient and ensure everyone in the group gets individual attention and since then I have managed to replicate the fresh pasta & sauce at home!
What a great venue! Matt and Carlos were so organised and helpful. We incorporated our core values into the event and the team were so accommodating. When we arrived, they were already fully briefed and it was so well organised, which made my event planning so smooth. I would highly recommend this as a team building function.
Superb experience with the team at Underground Cookery School. We were there for a Team Building event and we were well looked after and created some fantastic food. Really enjoyed and will definitely be looking to come back.
Fabulous day. Really enjoyed learning new skills and everyone was so friendly. It was a fun day networking with a wonderful meal at the end using the ingredients we had prepared earlier! Definitely recommend it.
We had our agency Christmas party at the Underground Cookery School last week and everyone LOVED it! From the moment we arrived we were well looked after, our glasses were not once empty, the cookery class was super fun and interactive and the food tasted amazing! I've been told it was the best Xmas party we've ever had so couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend it!
Our team had a fantastic time. It was a great way to collaborate and get to know each other better. I would recommend this to anyone who’s working with a global organization that doesn’t often have the chance to work face-to-face memories we will reflect and talk about and laugh about for years to come.
Fantastic team building event, making fresh Tagliatelle with Bolognese from scratch & an accompanying personal cheesecake. Lots of fun but also learnt a few new cooking techniques.
