Caldesi restaurants bring you authentic Italian regional cuisine in London's Marylebone and Bray on Thames, Berkshire. Our cookery school La Cucina Caldesi has locations in London, Gerrard's Cross and Bray on Thames and boasts a vast range of Italian cookery courses from basic pasta making to regional specialties from smoking and sausage making to healthy eating. We also have a private dining space in Marylebone that caters for up to 24 people.

We organised a company Christmas lunch with Caldesi in Marylebone. It has been an absolute delight. The service was more than perfect, the food was brilliant. Thank you Antonio, Leonardo, Alex and all the team for the amazing experience.
I was bought a gift of the pasta course by friends and had a great time. If you do this, don’t eat before coming. You’ll be feasting. A great selection of basic dishes covered and plenty to eat that you’ve collectively made at the end. Stefano was a great chef and teacher. Would recommend whether you go alone, or as a couple or book out for a work event.
A wonderful “Essence of Italy” course today. Learnt lots as we were taken through the preparation of multiple dishes followed by eating at a communal table. The food was totally delicious and I am certainly inspired to cook the recipes for my friends. Very entertaining chat too!
Fantastic evening with wife cooking difficult types of bread for pizzas & breadsticks & donuts Brilliantly run but the team and a little side of Italian humour Quite hands on but guided all the way through To finish the evening by eating what we prepared was a great way to end the night & finally a glass of Red wine … recommended
My client and I had an amazing time! I loved the lasagna and the ice cream was out of this world! The service was excellent, too. I hope to come back soon!
Such a great experience, I did it twice! Stefano and Pepe were fabulous hosts and teachers. We went as part of a multilingual group and their knowledge of different cultures and cuisines was marvellous. We were made to feel so welcome and we laughed from start to finish. The only downside is they clearly don’t know how to prepare a proper scone……..it’s always jam and then cream!
Went here during December for a cooking course. It was nice to spend the day with Giancarlo cooking and learning. Was a good laugh and has inspired me to push harder and hone my Italian cooking skills
Superb. Giancarlo is a super host and excellent tutor. I learned a lot. Wonderful. Recommended.
Finally got to enjoy my belated Xmas present in Bray with a great group of fellow aspiring foodies. Gian Carlo was just the best! Amusing, beguiling and very patient, as were all his team. Having eaten here before it was fun to have a few hours behind the scenes and get to eat what we made. Thanks Sharon a fabulous present.
I spent an amazing day learning how to make beautiful authentic pasta. Chef Stefano is extremely knowledegable and was a brilliant teacher. I can't wait to book another class.
