A brilliant place to spend the day, there is a fantastic play area for children to have all the fun in the world, and the walk around the park is lovely, it's quite heavenly listening to the stream and the birds
I have been there before but this was the first visit with the family neither we or they were disappointed The play area is excellent and contains many innovative components which are sometime educational like the archimedean screw for lifting water the walks are great and there is heaps of space. Walking beside the Frome River to the snuff mill was rewarding, though the boys found many sections of the path too rough for using their bikes Vassals Park is part of the larger Oldbury Court Estate and the two integrate well. There are still many parts yet to explore but we shall save those till next time were also enthusiastic about the experience and look forward to returning.
Such a beautiful place been here since I was very young. The play park is extremely kid friendly and great for all types of families. The river and walks around the park are so lovely.
Beautiful clean park. Really good for Walking or cycling. Have free parking and playground for kids.
Lovely space, parkland, cafe, toilets and loads for the kids. The river is shallow in places for kids and dogs.
Lovely, great park, very clean nice little cafe,, not the best of toilets but smelly, great walks kids jumped straight in the river and played for 2 hours, definitely be back and being merry for next time
Would be 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that they're introducing parking charges. Seems you can't even escape the concrete of the city to walk in greenery without being charged for it in this capitalist wasteland..
Great park, with a good variety of play equipment, free space and a kiosk. Toilets provided could have done with a clean, but it was the summer holidays.
Nice playground.
Lots of things in this park but I find the play area itself hazardous.full of rock, narrow steps and slippery sand.my 8 year old granddaughter fell on the slippery sand today and fell on the rock area. There are beautiful landscaped and picnic areas and lovely walks along the river. An onsite small cafe and usually an icecream van .There are toilets.They are usable but quite smelly.it is worth going but I will not be going in the play area again.
