Love this place, been around there quite a few times with friends, family & dog, nice little cafe where you can sit outside just by car park. Lots of wild life along stream.
Great place to go, good footpaths and lots of trails and places to go. Lots of dog walkers around the area and with a cliff wall on one side and river on another, there’s not really anywhere the dog can go if let off lead. Cafe in the car park and toilets.
Very nice and beautiful place for small picnic with family and children. Lots of spaces to walk around and relax mind and soul
A lovely, peaceful walk by the river to a pretty lake. Spotted a kingfisher amongst lots of other birds. Buggy friendly pathways. Public toilets and refreshments are available.
I liked the place. Lots of nice walking paths along the river Frome and a huge open space - meadow for picnics, sun baths as well as a interesting playground. A big advantage toilets!!!!!!
Lovely area with great walks and lovely area to relax! Great amount of benches and great walk paths. The garden near the actual mill was so beautiful as well. Some people were swimming in the lake which I was not sure if it was safe for wild swimming.
Lovely walk along the river Frome stretching for miles. Ideal for children and dogs. Can get very busy and have recently introduced parking fees.
This area of green woodland is a real gem at the heart of Bristol. It is important to know that this is a natural woodland that we must protect and not abuse. Dog-friendliness: Ideal environment for dogs and thier owners.
First visit here. Beautiful place. I love reclaimed, repurposed industrial wild places. This didn't disappoint.
One of my absolute favourite places in Bristol. Beautifully peaceful walks between Snuff Mills and Oldbury with the dog. Never had a bad time here.
