We have been to Vaseys on a number of occasions and always found them courteous, polite and helpful. It all started with a Halo Plum dining table and chairs purchased some 13 years ago which have been added to over the years with sideboard, bookcase, TV unit and a 4-seater sofa. The quality has always been excellent as they obviously strive to find the very best suppliers and their delivery men are by far the nicest we have met. Having heard the store has undergone a refurbishment, we look forward to visiting again soon.

Bought dining table and chairs. Within weeks the faux leather on chairs started to split where the stitching was. Now they have started to shed their skin!!! Two chairs now have no faux leather on them just grey fabric underneath. Initially Vaseys changed two chairs but as this kept happening they have now said they can’t do anymore. Trading standards said to send them one of their official template letters inviting them to act on this. I’ve not done this yet as I’ve been so busy. Poor customer service really!

A cluttered museum of ugly furniture that is overpriced, I feel sorry for the staff trying to make a living selling that stuff!

Very disappointed. I have visited several times over the years and made purchases but have always found I have had to go look for a member of staff, they have not come to me. My mum and I went the other day as we knew the store had been renovated and I needed a few new items of furniture, we walked past several members of staff, some even looked like owners/managers and not one of them spoke to us as it seemed they were all too interested in talking to each other. Having our own business I think it's vitally important to acknowledge every customer who walks through the door and ask them if they require any help. Customers keep you in business and in a job, what a shame for a long standing local company to let themselves down by such a simple but very important rule of business. Your refurbished store is beautiful but I will never return and suggest ALL staff are told to greet customers and offer assistance.
