I tried to purchase a car recently from these guys through an Autotrader advert. They were awfully helpful, but I didn't purchase any extras or finance deal. I paid a deposit and they sent me a sales contract. Made arrangements to travel from Liverpool to Maidstone to pick the car up a week later, as agreed. They then cancelled the deal on me, at the last minute, making some excuse about a mechanical fault.  By then, it was too late to get my train tickets refunded. I've politely asked them to refund me the cost of the train ticket, to no avail. I've now noticed the car in question was taxed within the following three days for a full year, so obviously sold to someone else.  Makes you go.."Hmmmm". Not a good experience and out of pocket.

Bought a lovely Mercedes SLC from Vanwise last week and very pleased with it. I dealt with Adam and Simon who were both open, friendly and professional. Smooth uncomplicated transaction dealt with quickly. Also got the impression if any problems arise they will help to resolve these. If the right vehicle came up in future would not hesitate to go back to them. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a lovely used ford focus edge and I love it x i went in to the dealership not knowing what i wanted but the staff were amazing in talking me through various options and they found the perfect car for me x nothing was too much trouble I didn't feel pressured at all and the car is wonderful x the service department were amazing in ensuring I was happy and in sorting my finance and I even got a call a few days later to make sure I was happy with everything. I would recommend this dealership to anybody x

Desappointed they don't care  about you i have bought the car there when I saw the car the car should be very clean and fixed if anything is bad .. the car not clean and when asked for clean it came almost the same inside  . I'm from London and I spent time to back there to they fixed something on my dashboard was disasters no really care with your car .. Bad experience and  left frustrated. Car giant at least give you a car 100 % clean and   don't push you for different agreement .. Don't recommend. Part from DELAYS to receive the logbook because I don't know why ????

We brought a van from are NEVER again one year later it was a write off, warranty purchased was a waste of money and left five thousand pounds out of pocked. When we checkef the vans history it was a very different one to the one the sales man gave us. Would definitely NOT recommend this company.

I rented a long wheel base Mercedes Luton on Friday 21st July from the Maidstone branch , just for  the day, to help my son move to Worcestershire. The motorway traffic was horrendous, so by the time we arrived at Evesham Worcs to pick up the keys  from the estate agent, they had closed and no way to contact them. We had to stay in a B & B overnight, and do the moving in next day. I then returned the van on Saturday late afternoon, and when I went in on Monday 24th to settle up the extra day's rental, they kindly only charged an extra £34.20 instead of the full day charge of £85.80.   That's what I call good customer service, and special thanks to Mike Costin, the guy there who I dealt with!

Very good from the start!! Sorted me out a van  Luton with tail-lift at the last minute.  I'd done two trips through town and parked the van over night out side their premises. When I returned the van, he sat in the driver seat and pointed out a stone chip in the windscreen.... on the passenger side that was smaller than a penny!!! My father inlaw has since then said it was there when he got in!! More fool me for not checking. Alarm bells should of rang when he didn't point out the scuff in the front bumper.. he would of charged me for that!! I have told him its repairable as long as no one er they puts pressure on it to make it bigger. I'm awaiting a call to see what's what with me £250 deposit. I will keep you all posted.... Just an update.... after the weekend, I got a phone call to say all was well and the stone chip was repaired at no cost to me. Deposit was returned in full. Thanks guys for sorting it out for me

My parents took their Mitsubishi truck for MOT at Vanwise Maidstone at Parkwood industrial estate and where very impressed and pleased with the service they wherd given. Excellent 10/10. Quick, booked us in last minute and spoke plain english. Highly reccomend.

This company is the biggest shower I have ever come across, trust me you will lose, lose, lose. They do not check their vehicles as they state and when you have a problem, I'm my experience it takes 6 months to resolve. The MD Mr Declan O'Driscol could not give a toss and will not answer your emails but then comes very vindictive. Trust me, don't go there

Unless your prepared to be pushed into using their finance company then they have a £200 admin charge for you to use your own... steer clear and like me if you have been told this report to Financial Ombudsman... and look else where for a honest dealer... in twenty years of buying commercial vehicles for a group of businesses I have never come across this ....
