Stayed overnight in room 1, a very lovely stay. Everything nice and clean and well presented. My only issues was no breakfast, you could order a continental basket, however it didn’t hit the mark as expensive in my opinion. The reception gave some recommendations, do not eat at the Handle bar cafe as there are better places in Oxford. Overall we would stay again but disappointed they did not cooked breakfast in the morning.
Spent £150 on a room that was tiny tiny and looked nothing like the photos online. multiple things were broken, stains on laundry. This hotel was supposed to be the highlight of a romantic getaway and was really disappointing. That being said, location was great, staff were friendly.
Fernando the manager is utterly useless. This is sadly passed onto his staff who also seem to pass on mixed messages and to no fault of their own suffer some incompetence from their training I assume. After trying to speak to Fernando, his colleagues told me they didn’t know where he was as he hadn’t shown up for work in the morning and to call back, that probably tells you everything you need to know! The hotel places profit above level of service so should you need a refund or complain for any reason, you’re not going to get anywhere as the staff literally turn their backs on you. I would avoid this hotel, it’s not often I write a review but don’t be fooled, make sure you read other reviews before booking as this hotel is seriously struggling. Noteworthy details: Uniquely awful management
Disappointing experience. Pictures and website looked promising but illusion faded away once I entered the room. Teeny-tiny room, low ceiling, no light. Picture of the view added to this review. Price was 159 GBP + 10 GBP per person/breakfast which was just poor on quality and not much choice sugary cornflakes, chewy ban, yogurt, cheese in plastic package. Great location and hotel looks beautiful from outside but it gave me the overall feeling of being undermanaged. I defenitly do NOT recommend.
The interior design of this hotel is minimalist and beautiful, thus its provides such high tech like wifi and tv, the room quite big and comfortable to stayRooms: 5/5
Excellent hotel, bright, cozy, clean rooms. The staff is friendly. I liked everything.
Awesome place. Everything was so good l, service, staff kindness, room and the facility are really great. Really recommended!!
The best hotel in Oxford! I have the great experience staying here. Worth every penny
Our room was not at all what the pictures showed. Incredibly small. I'd definitely not consider this a 4 star hotel, but a 3 star. You can pay the same price for a 5 star one block away. Location is great but zero amenities to speak of. Will not stay there again.Rooms: 1/5
DISGUSTING. Total rip off. Fraud- nothing like the pictures. 1 star hostel standard. We left to say elsewhere despite not being refunded and being lied to by horribly rude staff. Never written a review but this was shockingly bad- don’t waste your money- the worst place can’t even call it a hotel ever visited.Rooms: 1/5
