Still great 30 years on. So happy it is still here. An Oxford institution and rightly so, almost as famous as Oxford University.
Very welcoming. Service was a touch slow but the food was worth the wait. Had a very nice Pork belly with dauphinoise potatoes.
Service was friendly and efficient, the cafe is immaculately clean. The English breakfast though was disappointing. A load of unwanted and un-traditional chips, poor quality sausage, greasy mushrooms... just not very pleasant.
Very small place, with a few tables. We had brunch there, the English breakfast was great, very good quality of products and tasty. Recommended for sure in the town.
Went there recently and it was fantastic. Friendly staff and food was brilliant. A better fry up I have not found.
One of our favourite Sunday morning breakfasts in Oxford; with friendly staff and a very helpful and attentive proprietor who seems keen on keeping the menu fresh and up to date. Definitely recommend the pancake options and hot chocolate
Fantastic food, brilliant service. My wife had the scones in true devonshire style. I had the most amazing twist on an eggs benedict in my life with a sumptuous black pudding. Highly recommend it.
