Nice garlic bread, good place for a break whilst exploring
I don't remember going here but if Google insists it must be true. My review is therefore based on the name only. Golden Cross - sounds a bit stuffy, doesn't it? Probably a good place to sit and think conservative thoughts, reading a broadsheet.
I'm sitting here on Saturday afternoon when Ox is full of turists in chill and cozy room in upstairs. Good for private conversation when you need a break in overcrowded centre
Cosy cafe but music is a bit too loud for such small rooms so it drowns out conversation. Good food menu. Small portions.
Slow service, questionable jacket potatoes and soup that didn't taste very fresh. The staff was nice but that's about it.
Cute lil lunch
Great place to go and chill from the crowds.
