Had a query about council tax banding and the lady who answered my call was very helpful and courteous and provided the info I was seeking. Was only on hold for about 2 mins so maybe I was lucky !?
Ever wanted to stay on hold for most of your day? Maybe you enjoy the grating tones of repetitive hold music? Well, if that sounds like your idea of fun, this is the place to call! The best part is when they answer, then cut you off. It's my favourite bit!
Rather than actually bother to investigate my claim that the property I live in is in the wrong council tax band, I was told my claim was invalid because I hadn't provided my name, address, address of the property etc. which was clearly untrue. Typical government agency operating on the basis of lies and arrogance.
Agree with other reviewer. I've just tried all the options provided and ALL of them refer you to their web site and then cut you off. What a scam!
Shocking service, poor communication with local council. Sent us a letter and then didn't even recognise the ref. no they had provided or the address they had used on the letter.
Don't think anyone works at the VOA. No one answers the phone. Waste of time trying to call.
what a terrible service, may as well try to phone the Pope ,you would have more luck actually talking to someone
Typical public sector service...... absolutely abysmal! Whatever the earn it's money for old rope.
Useless all options refer you to website or cut you off. Nobody home obviously...
