Very small but excellent bar. Good alternative crowd often playing music from rock/metal through to all sorts of classics. Good selection of spirits, some lagers and ales. Part of the three wise monkeys and twisters.

It’s a pricey bar, but in general the service is prompt and the staff is friendly. It’s obviously gonna be loud in the evenings, but tbh that’s expected. Tried a cocktail and that was okay, but honestly not really worth the £6 when you consider how close it is to Slug and Lettuce. All in all a decent place to go later on in the evening when you’re not feeling a club but the quieter, more mainstream pubs are closing.

Absolutely one I'd the best bars in Colchester, no where else I'd rather be if I'm quite honest, been coming for years, all the staff past and present are amazing
