We came in for a late brunch. Now we ordered 2 veggie breakfasts, pancakes with maple syrup, 2 extra toast and 2 drinks total £58, personally thats very expensive . Our breakfast were very very poor in flavour, also I had to send mine back as I found hair in the mushrooms. Pancakes was very hard, home made beans was awful lacked flavour. Waited like 50minutes for our breakfast to arrive. When I sent my breakfast back because of the hair at this point I lost my appetite, as we had a pushchair with us, the waitress served hot food over the pushchair with our child in, which annoyed me very much, careless of her to do this. I was offered bottle drinks as a complementary gesture. Experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon.
Was my first time here and went in for brunch on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Nice location with outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating too. It has some vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. We went for the vegan breakfast and vegan brioche bap with a flat white coffee and blueberry smoothie. We waited around 25-30 minutes for the food to come out and it was average in my opinion. The bill was £33.10 which I thought is a bit pricey considering the food was sub-par. Not somewhere I would make a regular visit to for brunch. Parking: On street paid parking or you can park in the Jewellery Quarter car park which is probably a 5 minute walk away.
Dropped in to this place for coffee and a catch up with work on my laptop. Ended up staying for lunch. Really friendly staff, great atmosphere, great coffee and fantastic food. Can highly recommend the mashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough. Amazing! Parking: No shortage of parking during my visit.
Great place to visit, whether it's just for a coffee or for meal. We had both. Coffee with a pastry and some brunch. Great food. Quality ingredients and tasty. Good atmosphere with a nice interior decor. Friendly service. Can be a delay on food at the busiest times. We had the urban breakfast and eggs benedict.
I kid you not. £9.35. It was lovely mind, but come on. A slice of toast and some cannellini beans squashed on for best part of a tenner. They refunded the charge for the cup of tea when I complained. Had to go buy some lunch at Tesco afterwards. World’s gone mad.
What a lovely jewel!!! Vegan options were outstanding! Fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere enhanced with the great service from Tanya @mydogmouse - TikTok Mouse was most welcomed Food: 5/5
Visited for coffee and gluten free cake they always have a couple of options. As I’m not gluten free I ended up ordering the chorizo, avocado, chilli jam and fried egg bap, but as a hater yes a hater of brioche I asked if there was an alternative. I had it with sourdough toast and OH MY WORD it was DELICIOUS! Very appreciative of their ability to adapt and provide excellent customer service. Coffee both caffeinated and decaf is always spot on. What a place!
Lovely food, lovely coffee, surprisingly decent prices for Birmingham. Service was reasonably quick for a busy Saturday afternoon, staff were really friendly. The poached eggs in particular were outstanding! Only criticism I can say is that the chairs indoors are not designed to accommodate the backside of the average person, and could do with being larger/wider.
This is obviously a very popular venue as it was very busy when I visited. The menu looked really good with some gf options so I decided to order coffee and some lunch. Unfortunately there was a 40 minute wait for food and it was really really noisy in there so I just had the coffee. It was a good cup of coffee! If I were in the area I would consider visiting again at a quieter time as the menu really did look good.
Service with a smile, decent-sized menu for a relatively small cafe. Only dropped a star because portions are very small and prices are steep!Food: 4/5
