This is a first class restaurant, good food served well, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The portions are generous and not expensive. Have been many times and this is the regular high standard. One of the best in this area. John and Kath, Stafford
Friendly staff, well organised, good food, dog friendly and comfortable. Was very impressed with how they are coping with the covid 19 situation, everything cleaned and felt safe.
Very good very quirky and can be hired for different occasions.

What can I say we are never disappointed when we visit the upstairs cafe. Good food and drinks and most of all lovely staff. So dont forget to visit next time your in Bakewell.
Although this is a really nice looking place with friendly, courteous staff, the food we had wasn't that great so we were disappointed. The drinks were lovely and I'm sure other choices on the menu would be fine. Perhaps just bad luck for us today. It's a shame.
