I had some really nice smoked salmon with cream cheese and a toasted bagel. With a decent cappuccino. There's a good selection of hot and cold food.

Good coffee, great location. But got told to leave by the presumably the owner as we had “...been there a while and only ordered a coffee.” How about just asking if we would like to order another coffee or some food? And maybe made more money from us! Wholly.
Lovely place, very nice coffee, probably the most pretty cup of coffee I've ever had, decent full english. A bit disappointing was the traditional bakewell slice which was too dry. This place has a nice atmosphere and is child friendly.
Snuggly vibes, they were very considerate removing the bacon from my brie and cranberry panini. And you know the place is great when hot drinks come with Lotus biscuits
Nice coffee with pleasant & helpful staff. Went twice on my vist to Bakewell and can't fault the service at all.
Nice coffee shop that serves some nice hot food and sandwiches. I had a club roll with cooked chicken chunks and fried bacon. Very tasty.

OK, civic has taken away the atmosphere at the moment but the food, drink and service are still exemplary
