Good education service

Good course but some time u need help . Nobody around !  !

This is a review of a course I took this year and not the actual college.

Positives of this course:

1. Excellent foundation if you want to get into counselling or into care work. 

2. The library has a good area for books on this subject and the staff are very helpful.

Problems I experianced with this course:

1. There is a portfolio of evidence that needs to be handed in with this course and there is no exam taken at the end. The college charges an exam fee, but this wasn't explained until the second week. You are charged for your certificate.

2. The marking criteria of the course wasn't properly explained by the teacher, myself and a number of students are still grappling with the pack we were given at the start of the course. 

3. The teaching standard was very poor, I had to look up everything after lesson on the internet and in books. The teacher had no patience with anyone who struggled and expected people to get it. I personally found the teacher to be very snappy at times, I know this has lead to a few people leaving the course.
