Great, centrally located university.nI am studying my 2nd masters here. Friendly tutors and lecturers. Very modern university that had been refurbished.nHas a lot of facilities for students.nMulticultural students attend this university. It is very diverse, which is nice.
Dear Amir,nI wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for all of the hard work you've put in at the Student Accommodation Office. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I'm truly grateful for all that you do.nYour willingness to go above and beyond to help students is truly remarkable. From answering endless questions to finding creative solutions to complex problems, you've consistently demonstrated a level of professionalism and dedication that is truly impressive.nThank you so much for your commitment to providing exceptional service to students like myself. Your positive attitude and tireless work ethic are truly inspiring, and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you, Sir.nThank you
Hands down the best university in London. They pursue their students first policy like you would not believe. It's basically a university set up to give students maximum support to succeed. They have a policy where teaching staff reply to your email in 10 minutes, it's ridiculous.nnProps to all the teaching, management and supporting staff at UWL and specially props who ever is responsible for maintain their student first strategy, it truly makes UWL unique.
I had the most awful experience with this university as a former student. I applied for a postgraduate course and followed the advice of the admission team. Ultimately, I was enrolled in the course, but the deputy  head of admission abruptly cancelled my enrolment and left me without any further action. He lacked the decency to  call back and refer to as a confusion, despite the fact that that was a significant error made by the admissions team. They are ignorant to the fact that I declined all other offers after receiving an unconditional offer, and as a result, I am unable to enrol in any courses until the following year. Additionally, no one responded to my official complaint.
As a current UWL student, I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience at this university. Unfortunately, it is the only university offering the specific course I am interested in, but if you have other options, I strongly encourage you to consider them.nnCompared to my previous experience at another London university, UWL falls significantly short. The staff often come across as unprofessional, and the quality of teaching is not up to the standard one would expect from a higher education institution. There is a noticeable lack of consistency in the grading system, with tutors frequently disregarding the assignment briefs and rubrics, marking students down for reasons unrelated to the actual assignment. Even if you follow the instructions to the letter, you might lose marks for arbitrary reasons, such your paragraph being too short, or your essay being too good.nnThis is not just my experience—many other students share the same frustrations. Achieving a first-class degree at UWL feels more like a gamble than the result of hard work and dedication. One of the core issues seems to be that many academic tutors lack signigicant academic credentials and have not published noteworthy research, raising questions about the validity of their grading. It's as if they're taking out their frustrations on students who actually have a shot at succeeding academically, while rewarding mediocre work that barely meets the standard.nnIn short, UWL is a poor excuse for a university, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has the option to study elsewhere.
