Worst experience with this university... placements team miscalculated my practice hours remaining... and I was left with 40h short of placement hours in year 3...and unable to complete my registration with NMC.
Well located, well maintained, helpful and educated staff. I organized one event here, hiring an auditorium, and I didn't had any hassle. But parking sometime may become issue due to limited/restricted parking.
Beautiful place, it is small for a uni, but since this is part of the main St Mary's campus it's actually pretty decent. Thres a free shuttle bus too to go in between campus and the station too so that becomes very convenient.
The lifts periodically work, they say it’s due to too many ppl in a lift =breakdown, but maybe we need more lifts? This results in a massive queue for the remaining lift s to get upstairs. There’s only 4 lifts & it seems lifts have been an issue for years. Also each floor lift area smells really bad. The toilets on each floor smell bad aswell, Please can some of our tuition money be put toward improving this building.
This is one of the best places to study and also to work. UWL has been recognised as the University of the year for student experience and is also the career's University.nThe buildings are newly renovated and very well kept with everything it is needed. There is also a University bus to transport students and staff between campus and train stations. It is a must visit if you are thinking of investing in your studies/career.
