For university accommodation it isn't terrible, but keep in mind it's quite expensive for the kind of food you get and you have to pay for a bus pass ~£400 for the year to get to uni unless you cycle. Rooms are decent however and the garden is definitely a plus.
Nice area, near student parts of city, good social side and typical student rooms. However way overpriced for what you get, at any other uni the room due to the standard and age of it would be about 80 pound a week but with food it's 145 a week. Food very overpriced for what it is too
Good rehearsal space, does the job well enough. Can get either incredibly hot or freezing cold dependent on the whims of the heating system so make sure you bring layers rather than just one thing! Never been when the bar is open so couldn't comment on that, but the seating area is nice and well maintained.
Possibly the worst student halls in the country. Absolutely foul interior, felt more like a disused army barracks than halls of residence. I visited a mate who lives here and honestly felt like throwing up. The walls and ceilings are rotting away and the showers/toilets are vile and barely usable. Supposedly it's getting torn down soon and honestly that day can't come soon enough.
Staff are unhelpful, got locked out of university resources because of an error from accommodation. The place is disgusting too, should have been knocked down in the 70s, silver fish infestation everywhere, food is bland and to make matters worse, you're 3 miles from campus. Do not stay here, if you get your offer of accommodation for here, go stay in private accommodation.
Service was shocking. Waited over 10 minutes just for pitta bread and soft cheese. Think the waiter's name was Issac. Never coming here again. 2/5. He just came over to our table and started eating our soft cheese! Can't believe it... 1/5.
I'm not impressed by the houses, they're a bit prisony but for the money I'm not sure what more I could really ask for. The food is passable, the rooms are decent sized but it's not anything special; if you find a better deal take it.
Fairly poor accommodation, but cheap, and they provide 2 meals a day.
Great historic place, about to be demolished so it doesn't matter what I think...BUT had architectural merit and historic status.
Lovely accommodation, though a bit expensive. The environment is quite scenic and serene
