First time at Unity Diner and we'll definitely be back! The food is tasty and definitely satisfying/filling with generous portions. We shared the mozzarella sticks VERY tasty and shoes close to the original, prawn tempura good texture, but could taste a bit more flavorful, followed by Truffle shuffle burger with chunky fries a dream!. Cocktails are also a must try.
On our short trip to London from Edinburgh we absolutely wanted to eat at Unity as it has options that we’ve never seen anywhere else. We got prawn tempura, the lobster roll, the famous tofish and chips, and ice cream & waffles. Everything was outstanding! The food was original and delicious, the staff friendly and polite something we often don’t experience and the restaurant very stylish. We’ll be back on future trips to London!
Stunning! Went with my friend who hates the real fish & chips and it was so remarkably similar she couldn’t eat it! :-p Great dish, wish I had some option like this in Italy as well! Very polite staff, very clean place, bathrooms included. Also tried the prawns tempura and the calamari, tasty and good for those who are trying to reduce real fish consumption.
Incredible food! Everything we ordered was super tasty and hard to even tell it’s vegan. The waitstaff were exceptionally friendly and I can’t fault the place. Easily the best vegan restaurant that does fast food type meals we have come across in London!
Visited here for lunch during a work day with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. This was my first time eating at a vegan restaurant and certainly won't be my last at Unity Diner! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and not overwhelming, and overall a great experience. I would recommend Unity Diner especially for the variety of vegan food dishes and the taste!
We loved the ethos of this place, non profit, & all monies going straight back to saving animals. The food itself was ...amazing! I had the 'fish' & chips, I'd heard good things & it did not disappoint! & my partner had the 'gammon' burger. We also had vegan cocktails, a Seaspiracy & an Old Fashioned. So so good! Glad we got to finally visit, & will definitely be back next time we're in London. 10/10.
Really good food, especially the fish & chips they have! It tasted just like real fish, from the very vague memory I have of tasting fish at least. But even the non-vegan people I was with said the same, so it must be so. Anyhow, highly recommendable place! Very friendly personnel as well.
Busy café-style restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Good range of good quality vegan food and drinks. Good choice of mocktails and cocktails and vegan wines. Part of profits are donated to animal sanctuary and similar causes. Been a few times on my own and in groups and had great experience every time. Happy to recommend.Food: 5/5
I visited Unity Diner for a lunch. I’ve been following Earthling Ed for a while so I was actually very excited about dining here as this place was in fact opened by him. I ordered a hot dog, fries and a coke, and the food was good. Having said that, the service was very slow and the menu did not convince me at all. Most of the items were meat substitutes which is fine but many vegans including myself are not really looking for something that tastes like meat hence why it would be nice to have non-meaty products too. Overall, positive experience and I will definitely give it another go.
Food is absolutely delicious. Calamari is the show stealer. Chicken burger was one of the best burgers ever. Service was really good too but I felt like our waiter was rushed to clear our table. One missing star is because of cocktails, not the best I am afraid.
