We enjoyed an excellent set lunch at CK. The service was friendly and the food was flavoursome and well spiced. There were options for vegetarians. The spicy prawn starter was good, with plenty of dark spicy sauce. I had the Tandoori Trio as a main - a good dish but it needed some texture. The cauliflower had some colour but the 2 tandoori potatoes were soft and I was hoping for some crunchy bits, as you’d expect from high heat cooking. Overall enjoyable.
Visited a few months ago on a friend’s recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious, well-cooked, and had a Dishoom style that really hit the spot. The setting is charming, especially in the summer months if you manage to snag an outdoor seat. Budget around £50 per head, including beer and tip, and check out my photos for dish recommendations. Great spot for a relaxed and tasty meal out!
Great food, Very authentic. I liked the pomfret. It was simply delicious. Of course since it's in Liverpool street area the atmosphere was simply amazing with good vibes. I would have expected more on the service part especially if it's a fine dining restaurant. You would expect folks to guide more on matching drinkswines etc and overall like the turn around time to get food on the table or bill etc could be improved. It's not those cheap restaurants too so in that sense service could be improved but overall I had a good experience. So I would recommend it!
Craving authentic Indian cuisine since I arrived in London, I struggled to find a place that truly satisfied. That is, until my friends surprised me with this hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food—simply incredible. We chose the set menu for 3 pax as we are not heavy eater. It made us full at all. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the kulfi malai transported me right back to my childhood. The lamb though I am not a fun of lamb it attracted to me and I finished it all. However, my experience at the entrance was a bit underwhelming as I was left waving at two senior staff members who appeared to ignore me. That aside, the server was very attentive and kind, and the experience was delightful. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Incredible experience, the place is beautiful and cozy. Vegetarian options: The we had the vegetarian samosa, the aubergine and they are both amaaaaazing. You should try it!
I had a buy a gift voucher as a birthday present for a 3 course meal & a cocktail. When we walked in we were welcomed straight away & to our table. Aishwarya, the waitress made our visit comfortable from start to finish. She explained to us how the dishes are cooked, which was interesting. She also kept coming back to us to make sure if we liked the food & if everything was ok. She was so kind & lovely throughout the meal! The other waiters & overall service was excellent & more importantly the food was amazing. A great fusion of Indian foods & spices. I can’t tolerate spicy foods only mild & Aishwarya was reassuring that my meal grilled chicken & korma curry wasn’t spicy & in fact it was mild & I loved every bit of it! Compliments to the chefs who are very talented & skilled in their jobs & of course the waiters who are very good at their jobs too! I would love to return back to the Cinnamon Kitchen in the future, beautiful restaurant & terrace! It was a great meal to end a fantastic day out in London. Thank you!! Dietary restrictions: They were good that they asked if we had any allergies.
Brilliant indian food restaurant! I cannot fault anything on the menu! The char-grilled lamb fillet, the green mango & tomato soup, and the punjabi samosa for starters were brilliant. The banana leaf sea bream and the paneer for mains were excellent and the kulfi for dessert was to die for. Don’t forget to order extra portions of black lentils and garlic nans… they disappear fast! Ash was our awesome guide on this culinary experience, we were very impressed with her service!
Food was absolutely delicious great flavour I absolutely loved it. the only problem was the portion size it was tiny. I was hungry after I ate my main. I would expect a lot more food for these kinds of prices. Everything else was great! Some of the tastiest food I've had.Food: 5/5
We were gifted the tasting menu and enjoyed every single dish. A great mix of traditional and modern flavours with superbly cooked lamb, pork ribs, king prawns and venison amongst other dishes. Great service and delicious bottle of wine. Superb birthday for my guest, thank youFood: 5/5
