I like Chorley URC, I come here quite a lot, I am not a church goer but I come here every Thursday morning for my Functional Skills maths run by LAL and I also go to Art n Joy every Thursday afternoon, the staff/volunteers here are also very helpful and u understanding, they provide diner and once when the dinner on the menu was too spicy for me I am autistic so cannot handle spicy food the volunteers were understanding and was happy to make me something else. My daughter also attends URC when she is at Brownies. I also once went to the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations here too.
Went to The Repair Shop here. Brilliant concept. First time we went the receptionist was very pleasant The volunteers were so helpful. A big thank you to Tony.
They are really helpful and doing fantastic service, I am in debt tp them, nice and respectful staff
I attended as a child in the nineteen forties Reverend Storr. wonderful minister very kind. It was a happy experience
Always a friendly welcome by all. Chorley Repair cafe on second Saturday of the month 10-12. Save items from landfill and watch them be repaired by talented volunteers. A for a donation.
I really enjoyed the Cafe Church service. It was welcoming of people of all ages, we were greeted warmly as we arrived, and our children were made welcome, and allowed to be themselves, so we were more relaxed and enjoyed the service more. If you prefer a more traditional service they cater for you too. In the sanctuary area they have a traditional, sermon based service with less modern hymns, and a choir. The sanctuary is traditional, with pews, but was warm, despite the snow outside.
A good space, clean and well maintained.
Lovely church nice freindly people always welcoming
Old and in need of TLC REPAIR but are on the path to being renovated and modernised do an awful lot for the community
