My mum Pat has been here for a couple of years now, she sadly has dementia which is gradually worsening but the care she is receiving here at Grove House is amazing , the staff are kind , caring and second to none , some have worked here for many years which speaks volumes to me .nI’m very comfortable leaving my mum in their capable hands and she is treated with the upmost dignity at all times .nI visit very often during a normal week , I am always welcomed, I feel very much like a friend and it’s so warm , cosy and homely .nnI mostly like the fact that the home is separated into four individual areas with a lounge , kitchen and dining room in each because this enables the housing of a smaller number of residents in each area which makes it less intimidating and daunting for the elderly folk that live here . Therefore even though some have dementia it still feels like they are all friends together because of familiarity and this was one of the main reasons I chose grove house .nThe home itself is warm , welcoming and always has a nice feel of comfort that’s hard to explain .nI had Grove House recommended to me and I would never hesitate to recommend Grove House to anyone considering looking to bring their loved ones here .nIt’s a little gem of a care home , in a lovely Lancashire village snd there are plenty of places of interest near by as it’s not far from the west Pennine moors , just a lovely location .

When visiting I've found the home to be clean and comfortable for the residents who all seem happy and staff that care for them know the residents needs and like very friendly homely place I'd live there myself if I could

Looked after my parents for many years. Staff are excellent going above and beyond the call of duty. Cannot praise the home enough.
