Had a sunny family room for me, daughter and 11 yr old grandson which gave us sufficient privacy. Fridge in room so we could keep milk and bottle wine and we sometimes ate in hotel or walked into Croyde. Pool was amazing and Richard looked after us well with towels and information. Reception staff could not have been more helpful . Masses games to play - tennis, crazy golf, ping pong - and equipment provided. Everywhere spotlessly clean Much better than I expected definitely 5 star . We'll be back.
We spent a wonderful family holiday here with our 4 month old granddaughter with us too. Our lodge was very cosy & comfy The facilities were great & very clean. It was wonderful to be so near the beach, to have pool & Sauna to use each day, & the staff could not have been more helpful. We spent one of our evenings in the bar & restaurant & the food was delicious. The whole family enjoyed the outdoor games around the grounds. My husband & I hope to return by ourselves for a chilled out retreat. Many thanks.
Lovely staff that go above and beyond to make sure people have a nice holiday. The staff are great with the kids making sure they have a good boogie to tire them out. Good food steak especially at the most reasonable prices in the village. Sunday roast is lovely too. Highly recommend.
Only used pool, but very nice and only £3.50 per person. With use of Jacuzzi, steam and saunaService: 5/5
First time coming here. Lovely hotel. The staff are truly amazing. Great customer service and friendly. Met Martin the first day i checked in. Lovely chap with a bit of banter. Plenty of parking space. The location is good as well which is near by the beach, roughly 10 to 15 minutes walk. The restaurant/breakfast is good too with good and quick service. At times during the evening there will be live music playing which is good for entertainment. Clean and well organised hotel. Stayed in the ground floor studio room with a kitchen and the facilities. Has an outdoor seating area. I've used the leisure centre swimming pool. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which is plenty of space not overcrowded. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Staff extremely helpful and very cheerful.Lodges clean and we'll maintained.Restaurant very good my only critical comment is menue could have more choices.Rooms: 5/5
My expectations were rather low, but it was really excellent. I didn’t use the restaurant but the room was great. Location very convenient for the beach and the room price felt reasonable. I stayed in a family room.
Location is great virtually right by the beach and with lots to do on site. Swimming pool area can get busy, go there early or late.Rooms: 3/5
Superb resort/hotel, great size but not too big, lots of facilities including pool, sains, gym, restaurant, coffee, surf shop, large kids play area and very short walk to beach, super friendly staff and lots of outdoor facilities too, we stayed in a two bedroomed cottage and it was great, would definitely re visit and hopefully soon! Ideally located for Croyde, about 10 walk away as well
Very expensive no buffet breakfast and £10 for it not a good choice of evening menu no choice on weds evening like it or lump it menu nearly £800 for less than a weeks stay on top of the train fare coming down beautiful area though also the village is more expensive for anything!Rooms: 2/5
