Great experience! Definitely my favourite salon, that I will be visiting in future. Staff were all understanding and helpful as it was my first time getting acrylics. Quick and polite service! Everyone was super helpful especially the girl with the glasses at the reception! Great results, great service 10/10
Best nail salon experience I’ve ever had. I did a walk in appointment and I got seated straight away. I had to get two nails taken off and re done as I wanted a marble design, but the staff did that very quickly and took care of the other nails during soak off as to not waste time. The staff member who was doing my nails was so good and intuitive, when I briefly looked down at my nails and was thinking about the shape he noticed and asked if everything is good, which is such good customer service, made me feel like my nails were in good hands. The apex and side view of my nails is perfect, and I can’t see any parts starting to peel like I’ve had with other salons. I did an ombré nail from nude to blue, and the staff member who was doing my nails perfectly picked out the nude for my skin tone, and another staff member picked out the blue perfectly to my reference photo. Once all the ombré was done I was passed onto another staff member and she did the clouds so beautifully and quickly, I was super impressed. Overall I am super happy with this place and I can’t wait to come back!
I was charged £18 for a manicure and normal colour. 3 different people took me to do the job and had to explain myself why I didn't want gel on my nails. I have long nails and just wanted shape and colour. When I do it myself last at least 4 days with two layers... This one lasted 24h and been for three hours touching nothing to prevent. Horrible, felt like someone stole my time and money.Service: Manicure
I’ve been using Unique on Lincoln street for many years. I don’t live in Nottingham but I’ve failed to find another salon that I’m comfortable with so also come back. The staff are externally friendly accommodating for my disability and help advise when I’m struggling for inspiration. Today I decided to treat myself to their new salon, I only went in for a pedicure and infills but have been following the salon on Instagram and was intrigued by their new hair therapy. So I asked if they had time to fit me in. They certainly did and not only did I enjoy a beautiful hair wash but also a body massage and facial. I’ve walked out feeling relaxed and fresh. The staff certainly haven’t disappointed thank you so much for your kindness and supper expertise! Can’t wait for my birthday vouchers so I can book straight back in!! 100% recommended the new treatments on offer the salon is so beautiful a lot of thought has gone into designing the salon!Services: Massage
The skin around my nails is really thin, and when getting the nails filed, my skin was caught a lot as shown in the photos. Two of my nails hurt still like an hour after getting them done the nails, not the skin and I don’t know why, some of them seem to be on a diagonal as well. Some feel strong like normal, and others feel like they’d snap off really quick. Some are more curved and spiky than the others too. Overall just feels really rushed than actually taking their time to make sure each nail is perfect ‍ This may be the norm, but my thumb nails are so much longer than my other nails in the second photo. I’ve heard such good things about this salon so thought I’d give it a try, but I’m so disappointed that I’m having to go back to my normal salon tomorrow to get them changed : unfortunately won’t be going back.Service: Manicure
Where do I begin? So was getting my nails done. The guy finished my nails and someone was coming to take over from him. Two women were stood next to him and he was clearly moaning about me cause when he done my nails I said I wanted them coffin shape but a tiny bit square at the top. He was saying this to the women and rolling his eyes. So I asked what the problem was and they didn’t say anything. The woman who was painting my nails was EXTREMELY rude. Honestly never ever experienced anything like it. She asked me to show her a photo of what I wanted, I did. Then she started going through my phone on my iPhone settings to change something?!!!!! And didn’t even ask me for permission!! She was moaning saying I’m putting my hands to close together when I put them in the machine, when I definitely did not. She was grabbing my hands and was not gentle. The painting on my nails are awful. The women who took my money was rude too. Slammed my money on the counter and did not even say thank you or have any customer service skills what so ever. Definitely would not recommend here unless you want to pay for over priced nails, thick acrylic where it makes your nails look awful and rude customer service.
Really pleased with my nails. I walked in and they seated me straight away. The staff were polite and the service was well priced.
The best nail salon in town! The quality of their work is outstading and guys who worked there are really nice. I had a few issues with my nails in the past and thanks to Unique nails that is no longer the case. They care about not just your nails but people too.Services: Pedicure
