When I moved to Nottingham, one of my biggest worries was finding a good salon for my beauty needs. I am not someone who keeps changing salons so it was important for me to find the right one, so that I could stick to in the months to come. I am glad Mona's Beauty Bar was the first one I tried and since then I have had no complaints at all. The staff is very nice, helpful and cooperative. I always make it a point to take an appointment and till date I have never had to wait unreasonably. The service is very good and so is the price. I think its one of the most well priced salons in and around Nottingham. Also, the staff is well versed with their skills and advise you correctly. Only if a treatment is really needed do they do it for you...and this personal touch is what makes this salon very nice. Its professional but yet each client is given personal attention and advise. :) One of my biggest fears was getting my eyebrows threaded in a new place but since I have started coming here, I can say that this is the best place to get your eyebrows done. No one does it like them! :)

I have been a regular customer for eyebrow threading. Everyone I have recommended Mona's to have thanked me.  The staff are friendly and helpful and always give well informed advice. I now book all my routine treatments for threading, waxing, nails and the occasional neck massage as I would not trust anyone else.

I have been going to Monas for nearly 10 years now and i would never go anywere else! Friendly, clean and do a great job of my eyebrows.. always perfect. Great prices too.. thanks ladies xxx

Will not be returning to Monas beauty bar. I originally chose this place because I prefer to support independent businesses. I arrived at the salon at 4pm for a 30 minute neck, shoulder and back massage. Worst massage of my life. I had quite a bit of tension in my neck and lower back so thought I would prebook. I have had many of these massages before elsewhere and I am always impressed as this particular massage usually focuses on the key areas of tension trapped in my back. Not professional i was not given any time in privacy to take off my outer clothing or to lay on the table or to redress. The woman just stood there... waiting. I then lay on the bed where she continued to ask me to move. All she did was rub coconut oil in my back and ask 5 times in 11 minutes how i am. Yep, 30 min neck back and shoulder massage was an 11 minute back rub. If you are not qualified or not interested in a service you provide then do not advertise it on your website.

Mona's beauty bar is consistently good service! I go every month for a wax and dye and I always leave over the moon with my eyebrows! You don't need to book and you're always seen to quickly and efficiently - you can be in and out in 5 minutes. The shape and colour of my brows are always consistent regardless of the beautician. Prices are more than affordable for students like me! Overall I would definitely recommend Mona's :)
