There are 4 television in the gym area. Only 1 is on usually, it's a shame because would help to stay on the equipment when you get bored. Unfortunately few times I found the sauna or steamroom off, usually happened in Saturdays around 12pm. Bit dissapointing. The other thing which is not the best that at the weekends you close at 2pm. I think its very early. People who work usually have time only at the weekend to go to gym or spa. Overall I am okay with this gym, very good that only ladies can use it.

I visited today, this was my 3rd visit to the gym to use the sauna. This is the only facility that I use. Prior to coming to use these facilities I rang the gym to ask whether they had a policy with regards to what is allowed to be worn in the sauna. I asked about sauna suits and also being fully clothed whilst using the sauna with clean clothes. To which the lovely woman at the other end of the phone replied you can wear anything but not your gym clothes. ( i.e what you have not sweated in). The enquiry was originally for my mother, who has been going to the gym since November and has had no issues with being fully clothed in the sauna facilities. I myself started going in December and had no issue the first two times I visited. I turned up today as usual to use the sauna and the lady who was at the gym today saw my attire as we were going into the sauna area, she said we were not allowed to wear clothes when using the spa area and that it is swim wear only. We explained that we only use the sauna and that no one has said anything to us about being fully clothed before. I was utterly disappointed and embarrassed at being turned away once I had paid to use a facility. I would have understood if I had not made my enquires prior to coming to use the facilities. I am not one for breaking the rules in establishments because they don't suit what I desire them to be. The lady said it was swim wear only for hygiene reasons. I am curious to know if I turned up wearing a burkini as that fully covers you and is known as swim wear would i be turned away ?. The gym needs a clear policy and one that all the staff adhere to if they want to turn paying customers away.

REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY, BEFORE CHRISTMAS I SET UP DIRECT DEBIT FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER, WE GO AT OPENING TIMES AT 7AM, WHENI FIRST GOT THERE WE HAD TO WAIT AS THE PLACE WASNT OPEN SO SAT IN CAR, AT ABOUT 7.20 THE GIRL TURNED UP, I ASKED WHAT TIME THEY OPENED AND SHE REPLIED 7.30, SO I SAID IT SAYS 7AM ON THE INTERNET, SO MISSED OUT AS I ONLY USE THE STEAM ROOM AS THE SAUNA IS USELESS, BUT IT TAKES TIME TO WARM UP, SURELY IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THEM TO START AT ABOUT 6.55 AND TURN ON THE EQUIPMENT, FOR US MERE CUSTOMERS WHO PAY THERE WAGES, ITS NOT ASKING A LOT, AS SOME OF US HAVE WORK TO GET TO, THEY TALK THE TALK WHEN YOU FIRST JOIN, THEN NOTHING GETS DONE, LIKE THE SAUNA WHICH I WAS TOLD WOULD BE CHANGED FOR AN INFRA RED ONE, AND AS OF TODAY STILL HASNT BEEN DONE, TODAY WHICH IS 8/1/18 I WENT AT 7AM AND THE LIGHTS WERE ON, RANG THE BELL AND WAITED, KEPT PRESSING THE BELL, AND RANG TWICE, AT ABOUT 7.25 RANG AGAIN BY PHONE AND THE SO CALLED MANAGER, ANSWERED SO I SAID I HAVE BEEN STOOD WAITING SINCE 7.10, SHE APOLOGISED AND WE WENT IN SHE SAID SHE DIDNT HAVE THE INTERCOM PHONE, BUT WHY DIDNT SHE ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN I RANG TWICE BEFORE SHE PICKED UP, I THEN WENT TO THE SHOWER SECTION AND ASKED HER HOW LONG HAS THE STEAM ROOM BEEN ON, SHE REPLIED ABOUT 15 MINS, BUT WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR IT WAS CLEAR IT WASNT ON, I HATE BEING LIED TO, SHE THEN CHECKED HERSELF THEN WENT ROUND THE SIDE WHERE YOU TURN IT ON, IT MY MANAGER ACTED LIKE THIS SHE WOULD NOT BE THERE, THIS GIRL IS THE SAME GIRL I HAD THE DEALINGS WITH PREVIOUSLY, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, THERE IS NO-ONE TO CALL TO TALK TO BUT THE NUMBER WHICH GETS YOU TO THE GYM WHICH I THINK IS WRONG, THERE NEEDS TO BE A COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE SO CUSTOMERS CAN LET THE OWNER KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, AS THEY BECOME UNTOUCHABLE, AND FOR CUSTOMERS IS NOT RIGHT, IM SORRY TO HAVE TO WRITE THIS, BUT PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW BEFORE THEY DECIDE TO JOIN, ONE PERSON CAN BRING DOWN COMAPNYS SO EASILY, AND OWNERS NEED TO REALISE THIS.I REALLY DO APPOLOGISE TO OTHER WORKERS AT THE GYM AS THIS IS NOT AT ALL AIMED AT YOU. BUT IM SO DISSAPOINTED.
