What a great find. We stumbled across this pub off the main street by accident during a visit to Tavistock and had a quick drink. A very welcoming place with friendly staff. We had to return the next day to sample the home made pizzas - which were excellent. If you are in Tavistock I thoroughly recommend.
Great friendly pub with bunkhouse accommodation. Ideal for walkers and cyclists en route.

Fab carvery. Choice of 3 meats. Can have each plus crackling. Great tasting and choice of veg. very reasonable price. Good service. Can't fault it.

A wonderful old school boozer, the staff an patrons made me very welcome esp Kath even though I was not from the locality South Cumbria. I shall certainly pay a visit when I next visit Devon :
Brilliant boozer. Type of pub that if you lived there,it would be your local. Great beers, prices on par with social clubs. Good juke box.
